Axil Hotel has been my choice for the last few years now. I always stay here. The staff is really helpful and friendly. The swimming pool is really nice. I always recommend this hotel for your stay. Keep smiling and Enjoy your Day 😊

在國內應該衹能算比較好的3星吧。 沒道路指引牌，司機衹能看着樓繞，找路進去的。 因為是第二天8點的飛機，請前台約的第二天凌晨4點的的士，睡前還前前台確認了下，有沒有約好：説是12點換班和同事説，一臉不耐煩。 不放心，3點半起來趕緊先去前台問有沒有約好。新的前台接待説沒約，幫忙立刻約。還好，車4點前到的。去機場打的費25000/輛。

酒店的員工很友好，設施和網站上的圖片一致，因為沒有緊鄰大街，所有晚上很安靜，附近沒看到大餐廳。天方矇矇亮，就聽見馬蹄嗒嗒嗒的清脆聲響從樓下經過，這裡是有馬車的，通常是那種一匹馬拉着人或貨物的小馬車，後來也看到四匹大小高矮不等的馬橫着並排拉着的小馬車，由於馬跑起來的步伐不一樣，這種就真的就很難駕馭啊！出酒店大門右轉有一片掩映在植被中的漂亮住宅，門前停着乾淨的新轎車，周邊也有一些爛尾樓和建築垃圾，但總體還不錯。谷歌地圖標註的附近幾個外幣兑換店全都是錯誤的，一定要詢問當地人，儘管匯率不是很好，但有勝於無。

Hadden voor 5 nachten een kamer geboekt voor twee personen. Kamer zag er netjes uit : schoon, AC, TV en kluisje werkte prima Het linker raam kon wel dicht maar niet op slot Badkamer: - had echter veel schimmel in de voegen van de tegels in de douchruimte - de wastafel was vrijwel verstopt - In douche 'gordijn' zate scheur, die geplakt was. Service : was bizar Mensen aan de receptie waren uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam Probleem : er was voor twee personen geboekt, maar er was maar één badhanddoek, één kopje en één glas voorzien (bij waterkoker) De t****e badhanddoek kreeg ik later alsnog na vraag bij receptie. Helaas ben de eerste n 3 dagen 8 (!) keer terug geweest naar de receptie om een t****e kopje en t****e glas te krijgen. telkens werd beloofd dat we ze zouden krijgen. Er werd in mijn bijzijn ook gebeld om door te even om kopje en glas te brengen. Ik heb zelf nog briefje neer gelegd naast het ene kopje met vraag om 2de kopje en 2de glas. Het is allemaal geen ramp, maar je moet niet pretenderen om met zo'n service een 4 sterren hotel te zijn ! De kamer, badkamer en service passen meer bij een 2 of 3 sterren hotel. Het buffet ontbijt (ruim 12 euro per persoon) paste wel bij en 4 sterren hotel en was uitstekend. Bij aankomst werd verteld dat ontbijt inbegrepen was. Toen ik de volgende dag vroeg of ze dit nog eens wilde controleren, opdat ik niet aan het eind plots 120 Euro extra zou moten betalen, konden ze mijn boeking niet meer vinden. Ze zouden verder zoeken. De volgende ochtend kreeg ik telefoontje dat het ontbijt toch niet was inbegrepen ! ( We hadden de reis cadeau gehad en wisten niet of ontbijt was inbegrepen) Al met al prima ligging, vriendelijk, behulpzame mensen bij de receptie, maar op prima ontbijt na hooguit 3 sterren kamer die onderhoud behoeft

Modern location right in the heart of Dakar with an excellent breakfast and outdoor pool make Novotel Dakar a strong choice for both business and leisure stays. The staff are generally warm and helpful, and amenities like free WiFi and parking add convenience. However, some rooms feel dated and the check-in process is occasionally slow, so it may take a little patience to get full value.

Excellent stay at this brand new establishment! . The rooms were wonderful and spacious offering a Cozy bed was also a huge plus!! . The staff was highly efficient, accommodating and true examples of exceptional service. . The food was ok. We didn't experience the breakfast buffet since there were very few guest, so this was totally understandable. They didn't miss ANYTHING on this one and spared not one amenity. From energy efficiency, luxury accommodations and beautiful decor. I recommend Sama for your visit to Almadies Dakar.

Amazing hotel. Clean, big room size. Hotel staff was kind. Hotel is 15mins away from the proper down town area. Hotel should give more water, at check in only gave 1 bottle. And the next day didn’t put a new bottle.

A nice spot of paradise among the chaos of dakars hustle and bustle. Amongst the higher end experiences price wise it is somewhere worth visiting alone for the comfort and accommodation of the team at Boma lifestyle hotel and attached YouYou restaurant. Fantastic atmosphere on weekends which are great for a cocktail as well as great food options that accommodate somewhat towards a European pallet for those not looking to stray to far from home. My girlfriend who is from cameroon recommends the Mafe for more traditional flavours where, I had the Yassa Poulet which would suit many visitors with is rich onion base. For those looking for a comforting European touch any of the pizza options will suit alongside a cold pint of gazelle. Utilise this hotel as a resting place to visit such sites as Ngor, goree island, the African renaissance monument, the pink lake, sandaga, and nearby visit the surfers paradise at hotel virag for some chilled entertainment of local and foreign surfers alike. For a nice meal that touches several west and central African pallets head to maison B. Exceptional hospitality alongside fantastic food, cocktails and shisha all at an affordable budget. For pastries head to Graines d'or a five minute walk from the hotel. And also head to happy Happy Hour & Degustation across from Jgo and maison B and see what cameroonian meals are on offer alongside some drinks an socialising with their owner. The petrol station next door provides a variety of snacks and beverages including cheap alcohol and a cash machine.
