Ibis Budget Aachen City

This is the WORST hotel I have even been to. - BED BUGS - POOP stains under the table with hairs sticking to it -shower floor never cleaned - dirt everywhere -drug users outside of hotel -cigarette buds in the sink We rushed out from there the same night and will fight for a refund and report this place to health inspectors. Im afraid theres a risk to get diseases there!

Painful check-in. No one on reception when we arrived. Parked in the nearest car park that had a sign for the hotel but it was empty! Went to town until 3pm to check in but us and another family had to wait outside as we didn't have a code to get in and the people inside didn't open the door for us! Once in the family in front of us took 15 minutes to get checked in! Man on reception wanted us to pay again then he realised we had already paid! Room was warm and clean. Shower was inside the room more like you get in a caravan. Pillows were flat but got two more from reception. No tea/coffee in the room. There is a machine in reception but it wasn't great. Location was excellent to the centre of town. We did have to move our car as the car park near the hotel was closed not that you could tell as the shutters were open. We did have a problem getting out as one of the workers kept telling us not to park in here again!! Don't worry we won't ever be back! Breakfast felt like a truckers cafe but the food we had roll. cheese. cereal was good. I also lost my driving licence here I think. Tried to call and the number said incorrect. Tried the main number for Ibis and they put me through to the hotel but again the number didn't work so who knows. No one has been in touch with me. Overall great location and room fine for a night. Communication very poor and confusing. Front desk should be manned all day.

I recently checked into the Ibis Aachen City Center at 3 PM today, and I was extremely disappointed with the condition of the room I was assigned. The room was dirty and disorganized, which was highly unpleasant and unacceptable. There were visible signs of neglect, including unmade beds and scattered items, which is a clear indication of poor housekeeping and a lack of attention to cleanliness. It is incredibly disrespectful to guests to provide such a poorly maintained room. Given this experience, I strongly advise against booking a stay at this hotel. It is truly disappointing and disrespectful to encounter such conditions. I hope the management takes immediate steps to address these issues to prevent other guests from having a similar experience.

One can check into the hotel from 15:00 hrs via a display in your corridor by providing your credit card and reservation number. When we arrived at 15:30, the hallway was full of upset guests with their luggage because the machine was out of order and the reception was unmanned. The check-in machine was switched on only when the receptionist finally showed up. I understand that you wish to automate things to save cost, but you'd better ensure your systems work! It was very dirty under the beds. The warm water in the shower keeps getting completely cold while you shower, which is extremely annoying. The bread quality at breakfast is bad! Why do you not buy bread from one of the many great local bakeries instead of using low-quality, self-baking bread? Still, I paid over €175 for one night for a very poor experience. Never again!

Je kunt zelf inchecken, maar de receptie was hulpvaardig ook buiten openingstijd, super attent vond ik dat.

Heel budget kamer, niet teveel verwachten maar prima voor 1 persoon. Schoon, maar geen badkamer. Douche zit los in de kamer, wc ook apart hokje. Weinig stopcontacten, neem eigen beddengoed mee want kussens zijn enorm klein en plat, deken is te klein voor tweepersoonsbed en erg dun. Vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt is niet zo groot, had meer verwacht voor 11 euro extra per nacht.. Prima hotel voor kort verblijf, fijne ligging bij het centrum en bushaltes.
