Hotel Metropole

We go there for many years in may/june to stay there for a week of relaxation, treatments and to enjoy the Venetian cuisine. Don’t know many hotels who offer such a consistent high quality over decades with thoughtful adaptations over the years, i.e. now with a lunch buffet instead of served Menue which is the perfect choice for warm days. Don’t miss out the wine menue, great wines from all parts of Italy

Appearance of the hotel, many pools and spa treatments are unique. The hotel is very stylishly. What can be improved is the function of the aircondition in the fitnessroom and not least maintenance of the machines. We had to train in 30 ˚C and some of the machines were out of order or dit not work properly.

Overall a nice place to be!

We spent a week in this hotel for massages and other treatments. The junior suite that we had was spacious and quiet (overlooking the garden and pools in the back). The spa was fabulous with very professional and experienced staff and we really enjoyed all the treatments that we had. The food was fine although service was a bit slow in the evening since the hotel was full. All in all, we had a great time for a reasonable price.

I have returned to this resort and as expected excellence has been delivered again! Despite the hot weather temperature, the common spaces as well as rooms had a pleasant airco distribution.. really pleasant. The outdoor park rich of trees and vegetation was also pleasant as outdoor temperature. The pools water was really ok in terms of celsious degrees. With regard to customer service we have experienced an improvement on the focus on the customer, and in this regard we want to thank again the Maitre Mr Valentino for his attention to our needs and for his excellency delivered. For the service at the restaurant we want to comment on the caliber of some staff like Ms Anna and Magda both very experienced and focused staff, as well as for junior staff as Alessio, all delivering great customer service skills. We want to thank also Mr Thomas, Ms Teresa and Mr Manuel from the reception for their caring attitude and for their attention to our requests in particular when we dealt with our thermal treatments. We finally want to congratulate with the chef for the high level of meals delivered, for the alternative of choices and for the quality of food selected. I fully recommend hotel Metropole as well as the GB hotels chain and hope to return asap to enjoy the best of the best in Abano Terme

Beautiful hotel with extremely helpful kind staff. I was here four years ago and I returned because of all the fond memories. There is a lot of new staff, many more young people, but the service is just as good and the attention to every detail is appreciated. The wonderful Alessandro is the best waiter in the world! My Italian is not so good, but everyone is patient. The housekeeper chef is a darling smiling lady who could not do enough for me. Paola is giving the best massages, with loving care. The ladies in the spa and fango are kind and patient. The entertainment makes you want to get up and dance, and Alessandro at the bar is wonderful too. My only complaint is that the reception staff needs to understand that we are not just guests, some of us are not well physically, and mentally, Covid has had an effect on us all. We need to feel that we are welcome. Tomas Manuel Franck are doing great, but the others(?). A smile goes a long way, and money should not be the focus.
