I love the well design room, the complimentary ramen for supper, and the public bath facilities. The hotel is about 15 mins walk from the train station and there are many eateries close by. The room is considered quite spacious for 1 person.

The Dormy Inn is a chain 3-star onsen hotel that you can find across Japan. This is the first one I have stayed in but it certainly won't be the last! The one in Abashiri is situated on the river between the train station and bus terminal, both of which will be useful for getting to and exploring Abashiri. Reception is on the ground floor and you need a keycard to access any of the higher levels of the building. The onsen and sauna are on the top floor and are split by gender. The onsen part has both indoor and outdoor parts. The hotel rooms come with a comfortable (and softer, for Japanese standard) bed with a desk, telephone, television, reading light, etc. that you would expect in a Japanese hotel. It has slightly more space than other, comparable hotels. I stayed a week in mid-July 2024 and would happily stay here again! The staff were courteous, all the signs were in at least English and Japanese (and often also in simplified Chinese and Korean), and everything was very clear. I had no problems or issues of any kind. I did not eat breakfast at the hotel, so I am unable to provide any feedback on this topic. Conclusion: I will happily stay at this and other Dormy Inn's in the future.

good location and very convenient to the traveller no matter they took the JR or rent a car. The room was small and i dont like the self check in at the front desk. the parking lot was small and sometime it ran out of carpark. Breakfast was good with variety choice.

Service is very good

Superb location, just 3 minutes walking distance from Abashiri Bus Terminal. There's free ramen every night 9.30pm to 11pm. I've never seen such thing being offered by other hotels. Check in and check out experience is good. The hotel uses an automated machine to facilitate check in and check out process, which is also assisted by the hotel receptionist. Room size is a little small, I wished the room size could be larger as it is difficult to open luggages.

Good location really close to the bus station and a large BASIC supermarket open until 9. Photo attached of sunrise from room window. A great hotel but usually out of my price range. The main risk is an overcrowded onsen which together with the very variable pricing make this Dormy a better low season pick than high season.

Very good service hotel provide hot bath on roof top and the free ramen for supper is equally good !

New and clean. Breakfast less choice but good quality. Quiet environment.

Front desk was not friendly when I was asking for free parking, I think it should be included in my package.

I booked for 1 night to see the drift ice the next day. Pier is walking distance from hotel. Reception was polite and helpful. There is a convenient store just opposite the hotel.

房間有床蟲被咬的很慘、店員英文不通，建議不要來住！ Don’t stay in this hotel because of the following reasons: 1. Our skins all became allergic and irritating ( as pics demonstrated) when we stayed here. There must be bed bugs on the bed! 2. One male staff ( receptionist) with glasses can barely speak English and the way he dealt with us ******. 3. Every guest must pay extra ¥150 tax for hot spring when checking-in. 4. Guests must pay extra ¥700 parking fee and their parking lot is too small to accommodate all cars. So we were told to park in the other one ( also charge ¥700 overnight). Overall, we won’t visit here again and we strongly suggest you should not stay here.
