Abbot Trailside Lodging

So clean and Beautiful area!!!! Great place to stay 👏👏👏 Will definitely go the Abbot Again!!!! Peaceful, and such friendly people!!!!

Clean comfortable rustic area great for moose spotting areas to the north. Coffee, clean sheets, trails everywhere. Close enough to drive the Greenville moose watching area. Active host and easy check in with door code in email. Come play here

Great place to stay when visiting this area! Our cabin was immaculate, the beds very comfy, and a nice shower with water as hot you like it. Check in was super easy. We went hiking north of Greenville and didn't get to the cabin until around 8PM, but we were provided a code to the door which worked great. We were also given a phone number to call with any questions... wasn't needed! Abbot Village Bakery & Cafe is very close by (closed M/T) and Monson General Store is about 10 mins away... both are great! We'll be back, if needed!

Just a clean and comfortable place to stay. Last year I stayed in one of the cabins and this year I stayed in one of the Motel rooms. Both were excellent. Matt is very accommodating can expect me back there again. i was there for the purpose of photo research of one remote areas and Abbot Trailside is located centrally to my destinations.

The Abbot Trailside Lodging was clean and quiet. We liked not needing to check in at a certain time and had no problems using the emailed code to get into the room. From then on we used the provided key that was inside the room. The bathroom and bath/shower was spacious and clean. I liked that the sink was outside the toilet/shower room so that I could brush teeth etc while the other room was occupied. The 2 queen beds each had 4 comfy pillows and the mattresses were incredibly comfortable. There were a lot of ATV's around but none were operated late at night or early in the morning, which was important to us. Our room had a mini fridge, microwave, and kuerig coffee maker. I am in a wheelchair and was able to use my own portable ramp to get up the 2 outdoor steps with ease. I had called the Lodge and requested the height of the bed to make sure I could safely transfer. He texted me a photo of the bed height and also the height of the 2 outside steps. Now that's service! I would go back in a heartbeat and I highly recommend this place. No complaints at all.

family wedding in the area. we had a wonderful stay!! immaculate lodging, in a serene location, which was convenient to the wedding venue and close by local attractions, such as moosehead lake. matt, the owner, is very responsive to any and all inquiries. we’ll be back!
