Aberdeen Motel

People are friendly and provide service with a smile and a personal touch, Nothing was too much trouble, Have been happy to accommodate our needs on all our recent journeys, thanks for making our life easy. :) , We know now where to stay ehn in the upper hunter, Rooms lovely and clean.

With the new ownership our stay was very unpleasant. Majority of the rooms are now housing the family members of the owners who congregate in the front section of motel so peace and quiet is no longer. They also take up the car spaces designated to your room and with having a baby that is frustrating when you have to park away from room instead of directly in front of it. There is no more friendly service or greetings when you leave your room, not hello, good morning, just nothing but starting. You literally have 10 people just starring at you. One of which was constantly filming us without our consent that included our very young children. Even when asked not to film us we were ignored. They entered our room multiple times again when asked not too they did not listen. This made me feel very comfortable as they entered without even knocking whilst we were in the room. Which is an extremely unsettling feeling. The grounds are not longer maintained to the previous standards. The pool was dirty. They didn't restock things like tea, coffee, sugar and milk. It's very sad to see such a beautiful place that use to have such a great atmosphere become a place I never want to visit again. We have always found comfort in the motel and it's staff they were always so welcoming and genuine. The owners have no care for their visitors. I no longer recommend this motel and I won't be returning.

For a motel in a small town this is wonderful. We had a very pleasant stay. The room is clean and beddings is very comfortable. Would be great if they can provide forks too because we bought takeaways but no forks to eat with it. Friendly host and also I particularly like the outdoor BBQ area. Location is good. I will recommend this.
