Excellent front desk service,but l can't say the same abut restaurant staff,an food.the food was like in the beer bar not like 4star hotel restaurant

Great Hotel, the room is nice and clean more than we expect, staff is friendly. We noticed on the website show they have shuttle bus to city center, but there is not, so if you go to city center the location of hotel is not the best, is just ok, not too far and not too close. if we going to Aberdeen again, we will come back to this hotel.

The state of cleanliness lead a lot to be desired. How they ever let room 429 out is beyond me. The staining on carpet and walls looked like dog pee n poo. Pooch sure as a party animal and had fun staying there, not so much for me. Yes, I did formally complain the morning after (late flight in so not in the mood to start switching rooms). Nothing was done. I also formally complained after and got 25% refund. The hotel admits that the carpets need replacing and that they are working on it, but they still are happy to let the rooms out in this state and then fob you off with a discount. Go elsewhere. The Marriot used to have a reputation for high standards.. the desire for money is clearly the only thing that's important for them now.

We stayed here in October when the world’s favourite airline cancelled our flight and failed to provide the required care and assistance at the airport. We were on a day rate. The room and public areas were spotlessly clean. The staff were incredibly helpful, keeping our luggage on the ground floor and making sure we were ok during a stressful time. It’s not luxury but the quality price ratio was excellent and the service faultless.

Fantastic hotel with the friendliest and helpful staff. Stayed on a Friday and Saturday for an event at the TECA. It’s a 20 min walk or 2 stops away on a bus so very handy. Hotel issue you with free bus passes which you can use for going to the TECA or even right into the city centre. Breakfast was buffet style with plentiful choices and the lady greeting you as you arrive for breakfast is a credit to the hotel….so cheery, helpful and very friendly. Our room was excellent with everything you need including a fridge which was a nice surprise! Car park costs £5 per night. Very comfortable and enjoyable stay and I have no hesitation recommending this hotel

The good points. The breakfast was nice and Sara the lady who greets you is an exceptional member of staff and a credit to the company. Goes above and beyond to make sure your breakfast experience is spot on all with a friendly attitude and smile. Also very good on the staff front and attentive is Ayo. Another credit to the company. Bad points. The receptionist on arrival were as miserable as sin. A young guy with glasses in a grey suit with stains. Not a good first impression. And a girl called Dara. Both totally unhelpful and unprofessional when we were locked out of our room 3 times and told it was ok and it wasn’t. Up and down from the 5th floor like Casanova’s backside. Not happy. Both had faces like thunder. Shocking service. Other than that bed comfortable, fan not working in shower so very steamy in bathroom. To sum up the receptionist definitely need some PR training. Just shoved us our pass key and that was it. Poor. Get Sara on the reception I say. Make people feel welcome and let folk know the crack.

Fancied a night of relaxation and the Dining experience package was excellent. Sergio was a gem and I loved chatting to him. Lovely gift of water and fudge for being a returning guest. Bed is so soft! Dinner and breakfast was very good - remember you can always ask for fresh eggs.

Great hotel perfectly situated but as a solo woman was disappointed that no room service was offered… will return as its suits my needs as a perfect location but not impressed that I was expected to come to reception to collect my dinner… this needs to be addressed

The staff was excellent and were able to get me checked into a room at 6am. Enjoyed my stay, hotel was very good, room was well equipped, even a mini fridge, which you often don't get in the UK. Bed very comfortable, which is typical of the Marriott brand. Walking distance to airport was great too. I'd definitely stay here again if the need ever arises.
