We enjoyed our stay here, and the company of the baby seagull out front. Rooms were a little small if you are traveling with large luggage.

The guest house was perfect for me with location and how clean it was . Staff were very friendly and managed to check in a bit early as well . A very enjoyable holiday thank you .

Stayed in room with a sea view but the view was marred by a filthy window (outside). The room was in a revamp as the carpet is threadbare and wall paper needs redoing. The purple light outside that changes colour penetrated the room when the curtains were shut. Also, although we shut the window, we could still hear the noise outside due to old windows. We also shared this hotel with long term residents so not really a hotel as you know it.

little gem of a place to stay, right on the promenade, with a sea view from my single room, room was lovely, nicely presented with a comfortable bed and nice clean toilet, staff on desk at check in very friendly , took me up to room and carried my bag for me, for a couple of nights stay it was perfect, there was no noise from other guests, or from the road outside, where there was free parking, i had no trouble finding a space to park, for a seaside town in the middle of summer the location was brilliant, i will certainly use this guest house again as a midway point to visiting friends further down the coast.

£50 a night for a one bed non en-suite cell? The NOT advertised en-suite bathroom was soiled. What a joke Unless I have a telescopic neck I won’t even be able to watch the TV. Hehehehe Glad it was only one night! Pub down the road did soften the blow with good food & wine.

Great budget option - room small but had everything I needed and was immaculate. Didn't mind not having enquire bath or shower at this price, and my room had a gorgeous sea view. Handy free on-street parking overnight was a bonus. Really nice helpful staff and very friendly welcome, personally escorted time room. Excellent value, highly recommended.

Great value guest house, friendly check in, useful fact sheet of suggested places to eat and get breakfast. Right on the front with parking immediately opposite. Comfortable room good amenities and excellent shower. Loved being able to sit in the bay window at a table with my partner watching the sea in the evening, all the better for proper wine glasses provided by the guest house. Highly recommend and look forward to staying there again.

The good … friendly staff, clean, excellent location, great view from window. The bad … quite shabby, beds were quite uncomfortable especially if you have a back issue, not all rooms have en suite, quite often no one was there at the desk, we weren’t given a code for Wi-Fi. The ugly… lots of confusion over room bookings, at one point one of us went back to their room to find all their belongings gone and that someone else had moved in. It turns out that they had been moved to another room but that is actually illegal and no one had told us what they were doing.
