Hotel Itself was fine. Spent three nights there. Hubby went to look for ice on first night, Ice machines on all floors were out of order. He spoke to desk clerk to ask if there was any in kitchen, etc, Nope. He ended up driving to a gas station to get some every night of our stay. I talked to the same desk clerk to ask if any arrangements had been made for guests for this inconvenience. Nope. According to him, machines had been out for at least 5 days waiting on freon. We left very early on our departure day and I had night auditor note this with our stay. Called hotel the next morning and spoke to General manager. She mentioned that they had ice in the back on request for guests. I guess Dallas the desk clerk didn't get the memo. The manager comped us some points on our rewards, but complete apathy toward a guest is not acceptable behavior. On positive note, the breakfast bar attendant did a great job, was cheerful and friendly.
