Grecotel LUXME Costa Botanica

My husband and I recently had a week holiday here with our 18 month old. Leading up to the holiday we had seen some quite negative reviews that seemed to coincide with May half term and were worried we would have the same experience. I can say however this was absolutely not the case and we had a wonderful time, this really is a perfect resort for families. Everything is spotless and well maintained. The pools and water park are great for children and it’s great also being able to walk to the beach for a change of scenery which also has stunning sunsets. The pools and beaches have drinks, crepes and ice cream available which are delicious! The buffet can be quite chaotic at times but as most all inclusive buffets can be. The food though is wonderful, really fresh with great variety and delicious desserts. The bar also does great cocktails and the drinks service we found was very good even during busy periods. Our main disappointment was the Greek A la carte restaurant. We had booked in for both the Greek and Asian as we couldn’t get in at the Italian. The Greek service and food was so poor (main was a plate of chips and fried calamari that was so tough). It was taking so long to get our table cleared and desserts offered that we just left. We cancelled the rest of our bookings for the week and stuck to the buffet which never disappointed. A great resort for families and make sure to take lots of mosquito spray!

Our visit to Grecotel Costa Botanica in June 2025 was nothing short of magical, but it was actually our second stay in a short span. We first visited in May and were so blown away by the exceptional service from Georgia and the entire staff that we decided to book another stay just two weeks later. Their warm hospitality and genuine care left such an impression that we couldn’t stay away for long. When we returned in June, that same welcoming spirit greeted us, making us feel like royalty once again. The resort’s dedication to excellence shone through in every detail. One standout was the yoga classes with Tina, the best yoga teacher we’ve ever had. Her sessions were a perfect blend of physical and spiritual renewal, guided by her deep expertise. We left each class feeling refreshed and centered. TINA ROCKS! Vasilis also made our stay unforgettable with his outstanding service and attention to detail. The fine dining experience was exceptional, elevated by perfect wine pairings. The sommelier’s skill turned each meal into a culinary masterpiece, with flavors that danced on our taste buds. Every dish was a testament to the resort’s commitment to quality. The reception managers and entire staff were incredible, always attentive and ready to assist with a smile. "JUST SMILE" From check-in to check-out, they made everything effortless and enjoyable, whether it was offering local tips or ensuring our room was spotless. We also want to thank Nikos Daskalantonakis, the visionary behind this paradise. His passion for guest satisfaction is clear in the stunning grounds, cozy rooms, and overall atmosphere. Our gratitude goes out to him and his family for creating such a special place. In short, Grecotel Costa Botanica was a heartwarming escape that left us pampered and grateful. Thanks to Georgia, Tina, Vasilis, the staff, and Nikos’s vision, our stays in May and June 2025 were unforgettable. Our May escape to Costa Botanica was a breathtaking retreat into nature’s embrace. The resort’s lush gardens and tranquil vibe wrapped us in serenity from the moment we arrived, promising a stay to remember. Every detail—the cozy rooms, the soothing spa, the impeccable service—whispered perfection. But the true magic unfolded at dinner, where Georgia, the sommelier, turned every sip into a revelation. Her brilliance shone through in a local vintage she paired with our meal, a match so divine it felt like the wine and food were dancing together. Beyond her expertise, it was her warmth, her infectious passion, that made us lean in, eager to hear more. Georgia didn’t just serve wine—she crafted moments, elevating our stay into something extraordinary. Costa Botanica was a dream, but Georgia was its heartbeat. Here’s to her—the best sommelier we’ve ever met—may her career soar as high as the joy she brings!

It was supposed to be a nice vacation... it was supposed to be a good opinion... unfortunately at the end of the vacation someone stole my things. I left my things and my daughter's, when I returned to the place someone else was there and the things were gone. The man was shouting and aggressive. I asked the staff for help, but no one reacted. I understand that the hotel is not responsible for what the guests do, but such a situation requires the hotel to react. Hotel normalize these behaviors by not reacting and that is really disappointing.

The hotel and it’s amenities are brilliant, very clean and comfortable beds etc. Staff are very nice and helpful. Especially Nikos (small ponytail and glasses) who is a delightful and professional even when faced with working alone with a lot of people to serve…. Always cheerful and helpful. However in our opinion there just are not enough staff especially in the evening where you can struggle to get a drink. We did a wine tasting evening which was very good. Georgia was a fantastic host and very knowledgeable. Top tips! Take mosquito spray and after bite and cover ALL of your body with mosquito spray. Download the app and log in as soon as you arrive to book the restaurants. Have lunch at the Italian restaurant and have drinks at the beach bar 2-4 when it’s at its hottest…. Fabulous pinacolada!!! The beach is the best place to relax (adult sisters travelling without kids ;0)

It was overall a perfect vacation. The hotel is beautiful, very clean and reminds of a village. The stuff is very friendly and always greet you with a smile. The food was always delicious and you can chose from a big variety. The beach is nearby and the water and the beach are very clean. The hotel also provides you with towels with no extra charge and big sun beds. You can also book a restaurant like Asia, Italian, Greek or fine dining. I can really recommend the wine tasting with Georgia - she made it an excellent experience. I can recommend this hotel for everyone, couples or families - no matter what, you get what you wish for!
