Red Roof Inn Acworth - Emerson/ LakePoint South

The owner his owners son (Anaut and Paul) were Exceptional hosts. I could tell that they take pride in their property and that they care about the guest's experiences while staying here. This is probably the BEST Red Roof I have ever stay in, and I travel a lot! My room was large and exceptionally clean. The TV was large and the bed was soft. Also I appreciated the size of the refrigerator and that it had a little freezer section for my ice packs. Also there is a Waffle House in the same parking lot. BONUS! I have zero complaints. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The night check in is like being booked into jail. Lobby is off limits and you pass items back and forth through a slot in thick glass in a cubicle beside it. What really mad me mad was the only way to make a CC payment with this setup was to give my card pin to the attendant. Totally unacceptable. Beyond this the place is filthy inside and out. The room was used hard too threadbare furniture, rusted bathtub....it just doesnt gey much worse than this place. Awful.

We were on our way home from being in Clermont Florida for 3.5 months over our winter in Canada. This was a Red Roof we had never been at before and we were pleased that they had a room King Deluxe ready for us when we arrived. The fellow at the reception desk was friendly and offered some good eating options while we were there. It is very close to the i-75 and unusual in that it is own a steep hill to a quaint area. The room was clean and had everything that was advertised, Would recommend this location.

The staff were fantastic. Great attitude. Helpful, and always available. The bed was super comfy. The parking lot was well it. The rooms were nice and very clean. I will always stay at this location when traveling to or through.

This has to be the most minimalistic place I’ve ever stayed at. Two very old sets of towels of which one was dirty. Felt like I was drying off using a luffa brush instead of a towel. At 5 pm the lobby was closed & you had to use the night window to register which meant no access to coffee. No problem, I’ll fix a cup of coffee in my room or so I thought. Guess what? No coffee pot in the room. The woman who checked me & my two friends into our 3 rooms was not friendly & not communicative at all. Somehow she managed to use my credit card to pay for 2 of the 3 rooms even though we each gave her our own credit cards. At check out I mentioned to the man behind the counter that my towel was dirty & that the ironing board was broken. All he said was “that’s housekeeping “ & didn’t even offer an apology. The furniture was nice & the bed was very comfortable.

We were looking for a pet friendly hotel on our way home from a trip to Florida so decided to give this place a shot. It felt a little sketchy but we ignored our intuition because we were tired. It was close to $100 with taxes, which isn't bad normally, but too much for this place. The room appeared clean but, later in the night, the roaches came out. Between that, the loud highway noise, and loud guests in other rooms past 3am (on a Tuesday), it was impossible to sleep. By the way, the Waffle House next door is closed. After reading other reviews, I see the roach problem isn't an isolated incident. We went to check out so we could get a receipt for our stay and no one was at the front desk. We waited and tried to yell to get someone's attention but no one was there. We couldn't get out of there soon enough so we left.

tv was completely dead, the attendant did try everything except swap out new tv without success, said not possible to change room and laughed when I suggested a discount. talked to the woman at front desk in the morning who said we already got a discounted room. she had no answer when I asked her if discounted room came without a working tv!. She finally offered me $5 cash to go away which I took. DON'T stay here!!
