We stayed only for one night in Geralds Gift Guest House but we would have loved to stay there longer. The room was cute and clean and the garden is just amazing. The Dinner was also very good, we had vegeatarian dishes and they were delicious. Emma is so friendly and the communication was excellent. We would love to come back one day!

Lovely area and very helpful host. The room was beautiful. The restaurant offering was a bit limited, especially for a small appetite.

This property provided us with a perfect relaxing spot in the middle of nature. Everyone was nice and courteous, the food was great, the accommodations were very confortable, and the overall stay was excellent. Definitely recommended!

After arriving in South Africa, Gerald's Gift was our first stop and stay. We slept in the Hamerkop family room and had a wonderful stay here. The guesthouse looks nice and has a lot of atmosphere. The garden is beautiful with several nice seating areas and an amazing view. The swimming pool is ideal for cooling off and a nice place for the kids to burn off some energy. We found the cozy restaurant 'The Eatery' on site ideal, where we enjoyed delicious lunches and dinners. Gerald's Gift is also conveniently located near Addo Elephant park, a short drive away. Emma and her team are very friendly and always there for you. We had a great start to our trip here and can recommend this lovely Guesthouse to everyone. Hopefully we can stay here again in the future. Our thanks to Emma and her team!!

I needed peace and calm and the African bush. I got that in spades as well as fabulous service and genuine kindness and a real sense of care. Emma, the manager, was so welcoming, and nothing was too much for her. The food in the restaurant was outstanding. The bungalow was really luxurious.

This was our third stay. We absolutely love this place. Staff are friendly, beautiful rooms, amazing gardens. Will definitely be coming back!

The guest house is beautiful! We had a spacious room:the bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was really nice, water was provided every day together with coffee and tea; the room super cleaned! The breakfast is served in the dining room and in the terrace....soooooo lovely?Good and several chooices: coffee,tea, fresh fruits, fresh orange juice, yogurt, milk, muffins, cereals and they can make cooked eggs in different ways. Emma,the owner,is really lovely: she can provide you all the needed info and suggestions. The guest house is in the perfect location,especially if you want to visit Addo Park. I loved this place!

There is so much that works so well at Gerald’s Gift but it’s the service levels from all staff and the owners that stands out. We are a group that all had a few different requirements and nothing was too much trouble. For the price, the accommodation standard is very high. The food quality is exceptional (and the vegetarian options were the best from our trip. The Eatery is a great option for guests onsite. Luvuyo, Smiton, Gloria and Emma are all so lovely: but apologies to the rest of them but our favourite staff member was Joshua 😂
