Hotel Suite Villa Maria

Hotel Suite Villa Maria is a lovely resort with a range of spacious, clean and luxurious villas - typically laid out over two floors with en suite bathrooms. There are three swimming pools (including one for kids aged six and under), at least two of which are heated - if not all. With a kids' club and playground on site, it is an ideal place for a family holiday. There is a mini mart on site too, for drinks, snacks and other foodstuffs and household essentials. The breakfast buffet is plentiful, with a range of hot and cold items, fresh orange juice and bubbly (for those that like the stuff in the morning). There are two restaurants on site for lunch and dinner (one specialises in Italian food), as well as room service. While the hotel has many positive qualities that make it an oasis, the real stars are the staff. Each person we encountered was kind, warm and helpful, and went about their duties with a smile. Particular praise goes to the housekeepers, who always left our villa looking very tidy. Among the restaurant staff, we would like to thank Sabrina and Antonia (at the omelette station) for the attention they gave us, and Rafaella - the maitre - for taking care of us. Perhaps the only improvement we can think of is to improve the quality and choices of vegetarian food available. While there were a few options, the offering for vegans and vegetarians could be better.

We would like to thank all the staff at Hotel Suite VillaMaria in Tenerife for their excellent service and kindness. Our experience is fantastic, and we feel very comfortable here. Our villa is very spacious, and everything needed in place, cozy private garden with good outdoor furniture and beautiful views. The restaurants La Torre and Blue Oasis are great and the pools are also beautiful and good for relaxing there. Special greetings for outstanding service and kindness are to Marianna and Giselle and (can't remember the name of) the head waiter at Blue Osasis as well as other staff at all the hotels restaurants, all great. Also, we send special greetings to our extremely fun and service-friendly guy at Lounge Bar Le Veanda for his service who makes crazy cocktails, we recommend trying. And let's not forget all the wonderful staff, the guys who took us to and from Los Lagos golf course to play golf from our villa. Our wonderful vacation will end soon, and the occasion here was also to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary which was in November. We are here for the second time this year, the former time was in January and February and we will definitely come back in the next coming years. Thank you

We had the best holiday ever! So hard to beat, that we’ve booked again for next year. We booked a duplex 2 bedroom villa with jacuzzi as a family of 4. The rooms were spacious with plenty of storage. Kitchen well equipped with microwave, oven, hob and large fridge. Large bathrooms with good showers. Lovely outside space, with table and chairs, 2 sun loungers, and sofa. Also an upstairs terrace/balcony with lovely views and 2 comfy chairs. Staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We had an issue with being booked into the wrong room which was a shame but this was rectified on the 2nd day and we were compensated for this. Next year I will confirm room directly with the hotel before hand to make sure. Plenty of sun loungers in the communal areas (no need for anyone to reserve with their towels… on of my pet hates!). Pools were warm and there was a lifeguard on duty 10am - 6pm everyday. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing. Our children were in heaven (donuts, waffles, pastries, loads of lovely fruit, yoghurts, chocolate sauce etc). Also many breads, cold meats, salmon, and cooked breakfast items. Not to mention, juices and coffees were lovely too. And an actual fresh orange juicer. We walked to Calleta or Adeje most evening. It’s only half a mile up the hill from Caleta so really not a big walk unless you have mobility problems. There is also a general bus from the bottom of the hill to the bus station near Siam park (definitely worth a visit if you have children) in Adeje (only 6 euros one way for 4 people). The only negative I could honestly find was the beaches. But we compromised on that for the lovely hotel. We’re keen runners and found lots of running routes both road and off-road too.

Our happy place… we visited once again as a total group of ten, aging from 11 to 76. There is something for everyone here, bringing us together. We love this low key luxurious family resort. The staff are incredible, in particular the amazing Bea who runs the kids club, her wonderful sister Laura who is one of the supervisors at breakfast and lunch and Rafaella who runs the breakfast and lunch brilliantly. They go the extra mile to make us feel special. There have been some updates this year, the bar has moved upstairs and this is now a real destination. We will continue to visit so long as the sun continues to shine on La Caletta, the wonderful staff remain smiling and the standards remain high.

Second visit and equally as impressed. The villas are lovely and spacious, we requested one in a quiet area and that’s what had, perfect. The staff certainly make you feel very welcome. In a morning at breakfast met with a smile and greeted by all the waiting staff. The BlueOasis at lunchtime was great, highly recommend the Goat Cheese Salad. Once again all the staff were welcoming and attentive. The new terrace bar in the evening is a great new addition and the barman a real asset, even remembered our names and our drinks after our first visit. My only recommendations are more sockets in the Villas, we only had three which were one in the kitchen and one each bathroom which wasn’t ideal. Make the top pool adults or adults and infants only. This place is a hidden gem, on the outskirts of town but just a 10 minute stroll into La Caleta. The villas as immaculate - beautifully presented, spacious and with wonderful views. Ours was over the 9 hole Costa Adeje course which runs round the development. The staff were all exceptionally nice and helpful, with a free buggy service to/from the small course and the championship 18 hole course nearby. Breakfast was extensive, beautifully presented and delicious. This is a wonderful place, with a mixture of guests from young parents and children, to older folks. If (likely when) e we return to Tenerife to golf, this will be the first place we look to book.
