Easy drive from Coolangatta airport. Check in was easy and quick. Room was ideal with views over the lake and everything we needed within the unit. Have to have a car to allow travel to shops - Nerang is closest - and see the sights. We'd go again depending on what happens with the sale of the property currently underway.

The resort is in the Hinterland and is very peaceful. It’s an older resort but still in good shape with nice furnishings, clean and tidy and we found the staff were lovely and friendly. Well stocked kitchen for what you may need with a nice sized shower. Beds were ok but pillows too thin for us. There are 3 blocks of 2 bedroom units - we stayed in the closer “Golf” units. All have a walk to the pool, spas etc - ours was a 3 minute walk. But the other units are further away. It wasn’t much but they do charge $2.50 non refundable for a pool towel which I thought was unusual. No restaurant working and no Wednesday roast night when we stayed as not enough interest. Lots of bird life and a few kangaroos. Too secluded and quiet for us but if this is what you’re looking for you will enjoy your stay.

Such a beautiful setting next to the lake and surrounded by hills. Comfortable accommodation, just wish there was air-con in the bedrooms like in the lounge area. It was lovely seeing the kangaroos come out at sunset. The highlight was seeing the multitude of little turtles in the lake! They rush over and stick their little heads out to be fed.

The building itself is older but boy what a great stay. It was so relaxing with beautiful views and lovely surrounding countryside. The amenities were excellent, we really enjoyed the infinity pool and lake and the roast dinner on Wednesday night was good too, that is the only evening the restaurant is open so you really need a car to stay here

the Cedar Lake Country Resort has proven to be a very relaxing weeks holiday, with incredible bush and lake views, good walks and excellent family friendly amenities. The lake supports canoeing and pedal boats, while the pool is pleasant and well supplied with loungers. there is a well equipped Games room, tennis courts, both golf and mini-golf, as well as a Wednesday evening "roast dinner"

Lovely location and good service. Rooms are looking tired and the resort needs some attention but very nice and relaxing week. OH! don't pay for the roast Wednesday, it was not good at all.

Lovely resort, older but well maintained. Lots of space and things to do for families or a quite break for those wanting to get away somewhere quite but close enough to the Gold Coast if you want.

Nice place to stay near the Gold Coast. You will really need a car to stay there. Plenty of wildlife, we saw kookaburras, kangaroos, cokatoos and plenty more in the property itself.
