Hari Club Beach Resort

I came to hari hotel at Christmas on a family holiday , food was amazing the gala meal was beautiful. I then just returned for a second holiday as I liked it so much . The entertainment team are absolutely amazing very friendly superstar Joe head entertainer blacki, Nina and zizo , they where fantastic with the children, it was a holiday to remember, and would highly recommend, pool area very beach beautiful, rooms spot on and all the staff very welcoming.

Ok so ignore the negative reviews. You get what you pay for. Rooms are pretty dated and basic but didn’t bother us. We leave tomorrow and I will be sad to go. Food has been the best of our hotel experiences, plenty of choice although no toaster at breakfast. Special shout out to the animation crew headed by Joe absolutely fantastic and plenty to get involved in. Well done to Nina and Blacky non stop energy all day and night Also to bar staff Walid , we took Stanley cups and they refilled my husbands with beer no problem. or sparkling water given on request I also have to give an extra special mention to swag the pool attendant. This guy is solid gold and keeps everyone amused around the pool. All in all we’ve had an amazing holiday and would definitely come back

Quick stay as got in late so dinner at 8 pm. W-fi only worked in reception. Room was far and the floors were huge. Dinner was great. Asked for some help at reception and the guy was nasty. Staff at dinner were nice. Was off after early breakfast so never saw the layout thanks for team animation Nina and blacky they stay with us everyday Even hotel empty we are just 4 person here

Really tired hotel in need of a renovation, the rooms were not secure, dirty and damp. The shower did not work for 2 days. The furniture and fittings are all broken, threadbare towels, stains on the bed. The food was very repetitive and what was on offer was poor quality and tasteless. They recycle what ever is left over for the next service. The staff ( other than a couple of the entertainment team) did not seem like they wanted to be there, spent more time on their phones than actually serving anyone. The bar staff were equally poor. No internet in the rooms?…WI-FI only at the reception. The beach was full of rubble, rubbish & plastic bottles.

The hotel is very dated. They have updated it to look good on photos but it is very poor. The beds are as hard as the floor. Our fridge didn't work and the shower was cold 5 out of 7 days, despite complaining 3 times. Some staff are lovely but others are very miserable. The hotel is clean and the evening meals are okay with a variety of choices. The breakfast is poor with a choice of eggs, toast and croissants. No entertainment most of the time. The indoor pool is very small and only suitable for under 5 year olds. The beach is dirty and unkept. Djerba is a terrible, derelict place full of litter. Even the palm trees look depressed.

There is no way in hell this hotel is 4* or could even possibly come close to a 4 star. Granted we went in winter and the weather was bad, maybe if the sun was out you could look past everything else but this was one holiday I couldn’t wait to get home from. The worst thing was they close basically everything over winter…. Don’t stay open at all if you’re going to have barely any facilities for the guests!?… there was only one bar and one restaurant the whole week!… the food was absolutely disgusting, I was really struggling to find something that was edible every meal time. (The restaurant staff were quite nice and the oranges were great) The bar staff were lazy and the bar STUNK of cigarettes the whole time, it was horrible. And outside was too cold to sit outside most of the time :( The reception staff were also lazy and didn’t want to help you do anything!!! They also don’t have an atm and will only exchange money so make sure you bring cash otherwise you won’t be able to escape the hell hole. Everything was broken in our room, there were hardly any lights, no heating and toilet leaked all night. Only plus was that there’s a nice fish restaurant 10 min walk along the beach which was escaped to for food a few days. I would genuinely avoid this hotel like the plague 😅🫠
