Alexander House Hotel

Minnesvärd vistelse i en perfekt miljö. Några kommentarer från 2013 borde nog uppdateras eftersom vi bara hade bra erfarenheter. Strand 5 minuter bort i vatten som tillåter bad från morgon till kväll, välkomnande och lyhörd personal, inga språkproblem vid behov, måltiderna är mycket goda och varierade, på en vecka går det såklart att variera menyerna, variationen av förslag tillåter det. Det finns också några mycket bra restauranger längs stranden. Rent och modernt rum (duschkabin), förskjuten balkong (du kan inte se grannarna) och havsutsikt Leende, diskret och effektivt bemötande, från städpersonalen till cateringpersonalen. När det gäller underhållningen är den tillräcklig och lämplig för en grupp vänner vars all-inclusive-formel gjorde att vi kunde ha en mycket trevlig vistelse. Pris/kvalitetsförhållandet är därför positivt. Knosos-platsen besöks bäst tidigt på morgonen (risk för trängsel och värme) och den besökta vingården var också ett bra resmål för en dagspromenad. Slutligen, när det gäller tillgången på solstolar vid poolen med handdukar utlagda tidigt på morgonen, finns det inget som hindrar dig från att försiktigt lägga nämnda handduk bredvid och ockupera solstolen, speciellt när du ser att det inte finns någon i vattnet. Handduken kan bli brun på golvet som städas dagligen. På samma sätt är det inte bra att fylla din tallrik bara för att släppa hälften av den i papperskorgen. Detta har ingenting att göra med kvaliteten på personalen i receptionen, utan med turisternas goda uppförande, vilket är en del av charmen med kollektivboende.

Vi hade en fantastisk semester på detta hotell. Rummen är mycket bekväma och rena. Dessutom är inredningen modern. Maten är mycket god med ett ganska stort urval av rätter. Det enda som inte är bra är cocktails som ingår i all inclusive-paketet. Personalen är mycket välkomnande, alltid leende och uppmärksam på kunderna. Chefen servitören är också mycket vänlig, välkomnar varje gäst och förklarar hur hotellet fungerar.

We visited Alexander House towards the end of the season last year & had the most perfect break. From the friendly, attentive & welcoming staff to the immaculately kept facilities, everything was consistently wonderful throughout our stay. We stayed all inclusive & were super impressed with the diverse menu & quality of the food. Fresh fruit & vegetables, delicious fresh bread cooked on site each day with choices for every palate & preference. Only a short walk down to the town & beach but we rarely left the hotel as we had everything that we needed & were just too comfortable (lazy! haha!) We enjoyed the stunning sunrise each & and every day from our terrace, it was a shock to return home to the dreary London rain & cloud! We will absolutely be back! Thanks to all the team for making it such an amazing visit.

I liked my stay in this hotel. What I liked at most was the kindness of all the employees. The director helped us at our very beginning of our stay due to misunderstanding with local travel agency with opening season. Everything was clean, meals were delicious and for every taste. Lovely hotel, easy short walk to the beach, Panos and Ali in the bar made our holiday, so friendly, made you feel welcome and always had your drink ready for you, as they remember what you order. Food was good and has lots of choices, different speciality nights as well so always something different to try, but always had a salad bar and fries if you are a fussy eater. Couldn’t fault this hotel at all

This hotel did not live up to the advertised blurb by the travel operator, Love Holidays. Firstly, the rooms could have been more sparse, with the furniture required to be updated. The pictures needed to be updated, as the dining/cafeteria area was extremely basic. There should be air conditioning throughout the dining area, as the kitchen is situated close by, with all cooking smells adding to the extreme heat. There was little crockery and cutlery available at each sitting, and the tables needed to be cleared a lot quicker, leaving many tables cluttered with dirty dishes. Our party had to clear tables to continue the next course. Fresh Juices are squash alternatives, dispensed only at breakfast. One visit to the coffee machine is enough for one week. Many dishes were not labelled, so anyone with allergies would find it very difficult to choose their meal quickly, and it was very bland and repetitive. It also states that there are lifts within the building, but to our knowledge, they were unavailable to the guests. The swimming pool could be more user-friendly for strong swimmers and one of the smallest pools I have seen at a hotel for the number of guests. The minimum depth was 1.3 metres, but you had to use the only steps available at the deeper end, meaning that a non-swimmer couldn't even get in the pool for a cool-down—more toilets needed to be available around the pool and bar areas. Far too many steps and slopes made it difficult for those entering the hotel with their luggage to get to their rooms safely. There is no lifeguard around the pool which I found extremely bad when you have youngsters in the pool. There was a lack of sun loungers and umbrellas for the number of guests - no tables to sit at in the evening for a quiet drink after dinner, and the only seating was the sun loungers - never have I experienced this on travels before. The all-inclusive package only offers limited drinks and closes the bar at 11 pm. All local drinks are required to be paid for after this time. We will certainly NOT be returning to this hotel, which could only be called a 2-star.
