No way to summarize all but to say that I have never seen such an amazing stuff, service food and accommodation. I have no words for the amount of effort all the stuff is doing to make you feel amazing. Each of the guests is special to them. Service again is something that you fine see every day. Clean rooms all the time by the stuff. Amazing activities and amazing in house restaurants. This is the only place to go in Crete. You won’t regret it. It deserves 7 stars!!!

We have just returned from the most magical family holiday at Domes of Elounda, my only complaint …. 7 days just wasn’t enough. We were very kindly upgraded to a family 1-bedroom suite which was perfect, we had an incredible hot tub (a new one apparently), large living space, bedroom and a huge bathroom with a bath and walk in shower. There was plenty of hanging space and drawers (usually an issue now we are a family of 3) and lots of doors/ windows for extra light. The perfect family room. Every member of staff in the buffet restaurant and operating the club cars were exceptional, they really are the jewel in the crown and remember every single guest and their requirements. I was apprehensive dining at the hotel, as my daughter has food allergies and we’ve previously had a negative experience at another 5* hotel in Greece who didn’t take allergies seriously, however the staff went above and beyond every single day which put my mind at ease, a special shout out to the restaurant manager of Tholos who did everything she could to assist. The family swimming pool, blend restaurant and core are all on the opposite side of the resort to reception, which means we had to use the club cars a lot, had I realised that staying in a residence room would have meant being on the core side of the resort, I would have probably upgraded for convenience. Definitely something we will consider for our next stay. We visited the beach one afternoon and had the most fabulous service, great food and a relaxing time on the VERY comfortable sun loungers. The hotel has made use of every single area of the beach, which makes us feel cosy and relaxing. The family pool is huge and was virtually empty every day, however I suspect that’s due to the inviting beach, private pool rooms and the FREEZING temperature of the pool. I was surprised how cold the water temperature was compared to other comparable hotels on the island, a few degrees warmer would have made for a very different experience. Our dining experience was pretty good across the resort, however core was the highlight. The portions are generous and the food exceptional, there was something for everyone and we never left hungry. The staff here were attentive, knowledgable and seemed genuinely happy, which made for a positive experience all around. Overall this resort was 9/10, the only things that have stopped me giving a 10 are: the pool temperature, proximity of family rooms to family pool, limited dining options. Would we visit again? YES, I am already looking into rebooking for next year.

We absolutely loved it here! It’s really difficult to have a fun AND relaxing time with a small child, but this place did it! Everything is very family friendly, and there are a lot of nice things to do together, especially if you have a toddler. There is a great kids pool for small children, fun shows in the evening, such as the soap bubble show, and, in particular, a great kids club and crèche! Thank you so much for Eleni and her team at the kids club for making our stay so special and giving us parents a few hours a day to relax at the spa or pool as well. Our daughter is 1,5 years old and she loved it, always wanted to go to the club again. I was a little apprehensive beforehand because she doesn’t speak any English, but the staff is great and they manage to communicate with the children anyway. Also, the staff there is really big when you look at the number of kids, so that there are enough people at hand if a kid does get upset. When we picked her up, the kids were often playing outside, so you got a good look at the interaction between the kids and staff and you could just see that they are having fun. We met quite a few parents during our stay who had their children at the kids club every day for 2-3 hours, which was great because the kids got to know each other. We also met one family where the boy got upset there and wanted to be picked up, and they called them right away. This was before we signed our daughter up, but surprisingly it gave me a really good feeling because I knew that we could just try it out and rely on them to call if she doesn’t like it. We are definitely going to come back!

Just returned from the most wonderful stay. What a fantastic place, from the moment we arrived, the staff were attentive, went above and beyond and could not do enough for you. This is pure luxury and your feel like you do not want to leave the what is more like a village than hotel or resort. It has everything from luxurious suites to wonderful food and perfect beach. It is a real escapism and while Plaka, Elounda and Spinalonga are well worth visiting, it is hard to leave the Domes as you feel so relaxed. Such a friendly feel, height of cleanliness and they cannot do enough for you. We will be back and would highly recommend.

Excellent hotel with very professional stuff Very good rooms, clean and all that we requested was immediately done,.allways with kindness and with a lot of patient. Internment was very good .Breakfast and dinner were Excellent Thank you Dimitris and Georgia and of course all the great and kind stufff.

This is what an example of genuine hospitality looks like. If we could give it 10 stars we would. Every person working there was interested in making our experience perfect. Friendly and professional staff. Athin and Lefterius were incredible examples of people who care about people and made our holiday incredible special. We will not forget our trip to Domes of Elounda and will share this fact with our friends and family back in the USA. We will be back and we thank you for a fantastic experience. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at!

This is a fantastic place to stay. The property is magnificent. The staff are at your beckon and call and are truly amazing and so caring. The staff at the front desk like Ina and Anastasia could not be more helpful,polite,and caring. The housekeeping staff do a great job of cleaning the rooms and making sure all your needs for a great stay are met. Haris with the concierge was also fantastic. If coming to Crete this resort is definitely in my opinion one of the best. The restaurant for breakfast has a beautiful buffet and we were lucky enough to have Reina bring us our iced Lattes daily. After the first day we didn’t even have to ask and they appeared. I can’t stop raving enough.

Lovely resort with fabulous rooms, friendly staff and stunning vista. The food quality and options around the resort are great, we particularly enjoyed ‘Core’ and the breakfast buffet at Blend. Unfortunately, I can’t rate the resort 5* as they fall short in a number of areas namely the F&B service is extremely slow across the resort and is mainly due to staff shortages. The main reception bar area, family pool bar and beach seem to be the worst affected. We waited 20 Mins for a drinks menu and 50 further mins for bar drinks on our last night which is unacceptable for a 5 star resort. On another occasion we visited the adult pool ( no other guests there) and had to go and find a bar waiter. We ordered 2 soft drinks and 2 aperol spritz which took 31 mins to arrive - no apology until my husband complained. For a simple Drinks order this should have taken a matter of minutes to prepare and fell well short of an expected 5 star service. Secondly, the beach area needs maintenance and a thorough clean. The loungers and tables were constantly sticky and surrounded with discarded cups, bottles and general rubbish. the 1-2 waiters on duty simply didn’t have capacity to service the areas properly. The whole beach area could do with some general maintenance as the sand has become overly compacted ( stony and hard) and the loungers/umbrellas are tired. My husband had to call Management one day due to discovering a significant amount of half buried glass around his lounger, which they were quick to close off and follow up; but we couldn’t help feel that if they were doing a proper clean and tidy each evening would be obvious. We ordered food in the beach bar and again were let down by slow service and food arriving at different times and delayed. Management need to reassess service delivery urgently if they are to claim 5* status. The issues are evidently a matter of understaffing and not the fault of the actual team members who are working tirelessly to resolve issues. We met some Lovely staff - Elena at breakfast and the restaurant manager at Blend are a credit to the hotel. Back to the positives - housekeeping is excellent, our room was extremely clean and well equipped, we also liked the family pool area, plenty of sun loungers and space and the Haute living area was a good supplement for drinks and snacks. We used the gym most morning and were virtually the only ones . The location is excellent, a short walk from the small village of Plaka and an easy taxi ride from Elounda. Generally this is a great resort if you can look past the service issues, but for us, management need to look at their staffing levels and service provision if we were to return.
