Hotel Clarks Shiraz recensioner

This is a large 80’s style hotel set across spacious gardens close to all Agra has to offer. Large, palatial marble lined foyer with expansive hallways. Good sized, plush room with a/c and ceiling fan. Room has a fridge,safe, writing desk and two lounge chairs. Air conditioning struggled to get the room temperature below 23C but the ceiling fan was helpful. Water pressure was weak. We utilised the laundry services, which were quick, proficient and good value. The buffet restaurant was good quality - particularly the breakfast and dinner. As commented on earlier, the building is vast but both the upstairs bar and the buffet restaurant were both surprisingly small, making getting seating sometimes a challenge. They are currently undertaking some renovation works, which is happening quite unobtrusively, so I hope they remedy this in their refurbishment. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Long review but definitely worth the read if you are serious about coming here !! Excellent service from the staff unlike anything you had before. View was amazing. Wide range of lovely food. No dangerous insects or animals on land. Hotel in General constantly being cleaned. Fresh food cooked everyday. Once again superb staff. Me and my husband just came back and all I can say is Woww.... 👌 👍 😍 🥰 The first thing I would like to point out are the staff to be perfectly honest they make our 20th wedding anniversary as perfect as it was. From the moment we arrived they treated us like royalty. There was never a point throughout the holiday where they treated us any differently.They were genuinely interested in what you had to say and every day whether to be breakfast or dinner they would come up to ask how your day had been and you are having a nice time. A special shout out to ankit, arbaaz, satyam.every one in restaurant 😀 👌 all the Chef who prepare good food and nice Masala omletes for us. Big thanks to Mr MANOJ who treated us like family. Very good hospitality. He waited on us at night time and would always take our plate of food Once we'd gone up to the buffet and choose what we wanted and would then walked back to the table and would carry himself so we could go and sit down and serve it to us. Every day he welcomed us with smile 😃 Room was very cleaned full of amenities Thank to the young boy whom I forgot his name. Thanks to Tomar who welcomed us and help to carry our shopping bags everyday. My heartiest thank to Mr Amulya Kakkar who give us the opportunity to have our special dinner in Mughal restaurant for our wedding Anniversary which was a lifetime sweet memory 😊 ❤️ No words can describe our satisfaction in this hotel we came to stay for one night and end to 6 night. We spend 26 days in india 🇮🇳 believe us It's one of the best 5 star resort we stayed in. 10/10. Fully recommended 👌 👍 Thank Chiraz Hotel for this memorable stay. First visit at clarks Shiraz the stay was very nice we had an amazing time with the family☺️ Rooms were very nice we got the rooms as per our preference also the food was cherry on top all the buffet items were good and the options available were fabulous ☺️ We really appreciate and recommend the hotel to friends and family Best staycation☺️

A hotel with quite a good price-to-value ratio. Room, service and breakfast were quite good. The location is comparably quite and well suited for doing sightseeing and exploring the city. A good and reasonable choice when you go for Agra..

Last hotel on a tour of India, and probably the best. Huge room, very modern hotel, clean and tidy. Be prepared for it being busy, can be a little hectic especially getting a lift as all the tours seem to arrive at the same time. Buffett good with plenty of selection, great location for visiting the Taj Mahal

Unacceptable experience and management. We are checking in, and they give us rooms on the first floor. We notice there is a birthday party and wedding occurring at the hotel (pretty normal). So we ask the receptionist to give us a higher floor, but he claims that parties and music will be over by 11pm. We come back to room around 10pm and music is at a reasonable volume and we are able to sleep. We are asleep and then at 11:15pm, the party full blasts the speakers and wake us all up. The hotel does nothing about it and we have to call and yell 3 times. They finally shut it at 12:30am by then we are wide awake and our nights sleep is ruined. They clearly did not care about non party guests and ruined a nights sleep. The manager just apologized in the morning and had nothing to show for.

The members of the hotel were so nice, they give us extra Mango Ice cream. Thanks to Manoj and Divya! The Hotel is very clean and the staff so chatty. I enjoy my stay here and it’s my last night here in India. It’s in the near of the TajMahal. Thanks!

This was a nice hotel for our trip to visit the Taj Mahal. The bed was comfortable, room was clean. There are restaurants and gift shops on site, so you don't need to find any place if you want to chill out and stay in one place. We especially enjoyed meeting and getting to know our favorite waitress, Divya. She was so busy and yet always had time for that extra cup of tea or whatever we were looking for. She was the best!

Spacious room in modern hotel - wifi was good, plenty of hot water, safe, kettle with coffee, varieties of tea etc provided. Grounds appeared to be well maintained. Comfortable King size bed with quiet air con. Breakfast has good varieties.

Very out dated hotel. Our first room was very budget and quite bad with no functioning air conditioning. After several calls to reception we were able to move to a slightly better room which was marginally better. At least the a/c worked. Filthy rug in the room which we immediately shoved under the bed. All the doors and walls were stained, dirty and in a state of disrepair. I do not understand why simple cleanliness and maintenance is not carried out. On a positive note the shops were good , pool nice and massage was OK but a bit unusual. Not recommended at all and all our tour felt the same.

This is a very comfortable hotel with a very good location. I visited here as part of a tour group and everyone had positive things to say about the hotel and their rooms. The lobby is very grand and welcoming with lots of seating. My room was a very good size with a wonderful shower and even had a far view of the Taj Mahal. There is a lot of greenery on the property and the pool area looked very nice, but I didn’t have a chance to swim. The buffet breakfast was really good, especially in the upstairs room with the view of the Taj Mahal. Eggs were made to order and there was a large variety of items to choose from. I did feel like the staff in the downstairs buffet restaurant were not as welcoming. I would definitely stay here again if I ever have another opportunity to visit Agra.
