La Terrazza di Empedocle

We stayed two nights here to see the valley of the temples. The hosts could not have been more sweet and accommodating. Great view from the rooftop terrace. My only issue was the parking was not great, but that's Sicily.

This is not a hotel, a fact which is not obvious on booking. It is a bed and breakfast in a high rise apartment with four rooms for guests. We enjoyed the stay of two nights. The location is good, a short walk but out the back of the apartment block and up a dark passage and set of steps. I’m not sure I would have been comfortable if I’d been on my own. Spooky. One highlight is the FABULOUS VIEW. We paid extra for a room at the front and it was worth it, particularly at night when Agrigento archeological site is illuminated. The view was just as stunning from the huge terrace available to all guests. It was on this terrace that the other highlight, the FABULOUS BREAKFAST was served. Because we were staying two nights we got two complete different breakfasts, glorious traditional foods. Not your typical help yourself breakfast but one prepared individually. Delicious! The young couple who manage this B and B work very hard to ensure everyone enjoys their stay. Five stars!

Quite a unique B&B on the top floor (12th) of a high rise apartment block. As you can imagine the views from the terrace are spectacular over the Valley of the Temples to the sea. Chiara and Lello are wonderful hosts, going out of their way to make your stay memorable. Yes parking is not easy but driving around Sicily, especially in the towns/cities is not for the faint hearted. Italian motorists drive fast, hard, with no sense of courtesy or consideration for others. Adopt their modus operandi or die! We had no problems in eventually finding a space in front of the block. Our room was very clean, functional and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the old town. Great in the evening when illuminated. Breakfast was fab, with a different twist on each of the two nights we stayed. Absolutely delicious. Location is great, just five minutes to the main street and all the shops/restaurants and sights. Certainly one of the best B&Bs we have ever stayed in.

Unbelievable experience. Best breakfast ever. Unique, flavorful and plentiful. Modern accommodations, clean and everything you need. View lovely. But above all Lellò and Chiara are an amazing font of information or just simply good conversation. They were even so thoughtful as to park their own car in advance of our arrival knowing we would be arriving at a busy time and then moved it to allow us to use the spot. What considerate hosts indeed. We loved it. They work hard to get it right. Bravo!

Il punto forte è decisamente la posizione, in pieno centro storico e con davanti un parcheggio gratuito. La terrazza offre una meravigliosa vista sui templi. La colazione è abbondante e squisita, con specialità locali dolci e salate. I proprietari sono simpatici e accoglienti. Stanza piccola con arredamento di base ma funzionale , solo consiglieremmo di mettere degli appendiabiti: per un passaggio di una notte va bene lasciare tutto in valigia ma se ci si ferma di più serve poter appendere almeno le giacche

B&B avec situation idéale, vue imprenable sur les temples, chambre très confortable et agréablement décorée. Parking gratuit juste en face, très pratique.Petits déjeuners siciliens excellents, typiques et variés. Et pour ne rien gâcher, hôtes très avenants et de bons conseils pour notre séjour !
