South Point Ocean - Whole Villa 8 Bedroom (Sleep 16)

Unbeatable position steps from the beach with beautiful pool area for drinks and dinner. Dined on the beach several times which the staff set up for us and we enjoyed the Sri Lankan curry's very much. There are several accomodation options with different configurations of beds etc. Great for a large group. Beware that the villa staff require cash payment for food etc at the end of your stay which requires forward planning. We loved having our own fridge and water area which our group used for cocktails and drinks. Breakfast was plentiful with fruit, juices bacon, eggs etc with a Sri Lankan option also available. The villa is clean but could do with a little style update. All in all a very happy stay

We had the most amazing experience ever at South Point Abbey. Special thanks to the wonderful staff- Roshani, Pradeep, Sunitha aunty, Chef Sahan and Shakila) for taking such good care of us and attending to all our needs and desires. The ocean front South Point Abbey is absolutely stunning, a beautifully maintained property, on a pristine beach. South Point Abbey has become our new favourite vacation destination, we hope to be back at least every year to cherish this truly magical, once-in-a-lifetime experience. We also want to ext nd our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Gamini for making sure our stay at South Point Abbey was fantastic.

I stayed in the wonderful abbey villa with my family! It was beautiful!! The view and the service is amazing! The food is delicious and they are very accommodating to your taste. Highly recommend for everyone who is looking for a peaceful place to relax! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

Our trip was extraordinary ! Thank you to all the staff who helped make our stay amazing 🫶🏼 Chef Asha impressed us every day cooking and kind attitude , she worked hard to accommodate all our needs and satisfy our cravings. Prima charmed us everyday with her kind smile and worked very hard to help us and kept the place clean and neat all the time.

I travelled with my multi-generational, multi-cultural family in April 2024 and stayed at South Point Ocean. We also rented one of the rooms in the Annexe. The house itself is massive and nicely spread out - allowing for the group to mingle in various meeting spaces or get their privacy in their own rooms - all with lovely views of the pool, garden and blue ocean. Steps away from the beach, one can enjoy short walks and swims in the ocean. The hospitality was truly special - large groups are demanding and difficult (and we were no exception), but the owner Sonali, manager Gamini, and the rest of the staff were always wonderfully courteous and accommodating. They sent multiple cakes to celebrate birthdays - which were delicious and unexpected :) I highly recommend South Point Ocean for a large group, or some of their other properties for smaller groups. You'll be hard-pressed to find such a well-located home with so many amenities at a reasonable price.

Great location touching the beach . Comfortable and very courteous staff. Nice size pool and many bedrooms and good for large groups. Sea view from all. Rooms and excellent bbq. love it. Coming back. The hospitality was amazing .cannot wait to come back soon again.
