Econo Lodge

This motel is quite old, but it has most of all the amenities we expect, like internet, parking, refrigerator, working TV, microwave and work desk/chair. I say "most" amenities because this Econo Lodge says on their internet site that they have breakfast, but they don't....at least not at this time. We stayed here two consecutive nights in two different rooms. Both rooms were fairly clean and the beds were very comfortable. However, we were assigned a room the first night that had no working heater or blanket on the bed on a cold night. My husband couldn't sleep because he was so cold. The conciliatory management said they knew the room had no heat and they would move us to a better room. This room had a new heating unit that worked well. However, from 5 AM to 7 AM, there were people outside our room who continually spoke and laughed loudly. The conciliatory management said that this ruckus came from people in the parking lot, but that was not the case. We were in the room adjacent to the office and the noise came from conversations taking place in the office. We liked the managers who were very friendly and seemed to want to help but we are unable to recommend that anyone choose to stay at this motel.
