Staff were friendly and helpful. View is nice.

Very few staff members were helpful. Often giving incorrect change, stating incorrect prices of food on the menu, overcharging, etc. The first room we were put in was not at all what was shown on the booking and we had to ask twice to change rooms. AC in room only works part of the time and you have to get up in the night to turn it on again and again. Hotel states it has a free breakfast buffet but it was only available two of the days we stayed (we were there for a week). Restaurant is not good, often out of many things. It’s an issue to get a plastic cup or a takeaway container, even though they have them, they didn’t want to provide them to us. More than once did the restaurant charge us incorrectly as well as gave incorrect change. It became to the point where it seemed like a scam. The pool is open to the public so it’s often crowded and it’s only open until 6 pm which was really disappointing.

Not recommended at all! One star is just SO much for this hotel! Something very bad happened with us yesterday at the pool. Yesterday we wanted to go to the pool with my sister’s family ( they live abroad) and i was telling them about The Ray since we know it well and my sister stayed in the hotel for two days in two rooms We arrived to the pool and payed the entrance, once in, a man came and told us that the kid’s floaties are not allowed in knowing that my sister’s son is less than one year old With no clarification, we went to ask the guy on the reception he said no worries u can use it in the kids pool only When we went to the kids pool with the floaties, a man came and started shouting and told us to remove them or else take ur money and leave The way we were treated was horrible and unacceptable I went twice to get my money back, and each time they told me its ok We were kicked out officially and this is not normal to happen There are no instructions at the door, nothing written, how would we know And btw the pool was full of hair and oil
