Knight's Rest Guest House

We were Asian descent, English speaking sisters and made this booking based on excellent reviews. We were offended and bewildered by our treatment. On the plus side: facilities were good; ensuite double room was comfortable with tea making facilities, breakfast was fresh and vegetarian option was available, the establishment was clean throughout. Negatives: We were bewildered and upset by the attitude of the host who was perfunctory at best, not at all friendly or welcoming, very tight lipped, never smiled. She never engaged in any friendly chatter and we were not made to feel welcome. During breakfast we were not asked to help ourselves to juice and cereal, we noticed it and helped ourselves assuming it was included. we were not shown to our seats and then when we sat where we decided to, we were told she had prepared a different table for us. This made us feel awkward. We made sure we were well mannered at all times and said thank you on leaving. I would not recommend anyone staying here. We will not be booking again.

Lovely Guest House, Hosts super friendly and helpful. Area is very nice and it’s very convenient for Airdrie centre. Off street parking with cctv is always a bonus. The room was lovely and clean with everything you’d need, Bed super comfy Will definitely stay again

Lovely Bed & Breakfast, very clean, toiletries, plenty towels, tea/coffee facilities, really comfy bed, excellent breakfast freshly made, was lovely and hot. Host was fab, couldn't do enough for us. Close to town centre, great stay, would definitely stay again

I had a great stay, the B&B was very comfortable and clean, the location is ideal, the breakfast was exceptional, the hosts were lovely. The off road parking with security lighting is good to know your vehicle is safe. Everything was perfect, I will definitely stay there again in the future.

Really friendly host in Suzanne with the room prepared to a good standard. Even though I’d made a booking for one instead of two she sorted this without any fuss. Breakfast was top drawer with good scrambled eggs for my wife and full Scottish for me. Off road parking was good. Nicely located near our friends.

We went to a family funeral and booked this guest house for an overnight stay, the rooms are very well equipped and comfortable, the host was most welcoming ,added bonus parking and a good breakfast,there is such a relaxed feeling about the place and there's no rushing people out.
