Hôtel Le Mozart

The hotel is a good choice for budgetminded travelers but it is somewhat distant from the center of the city. It took about a half hour to walk to the rotonde, which is the center of Aix. However, along the way to the rotonde are plenty of cafes, shops selling food, wine and bread. The route is pretty direct and leads directly to Cours Mirabeau, the main thoroughfare of Aix, You can take a taxi from the rotonde to the hotel for 8 Euros. Breakfast provided a nice selection of European breakfast choices and you could dine on the outside terrace on the days that it was open. The hotel didn't have laundry facilities, but there is a pressing service(dry cleaner) a short walk from the hotel on Gambetta that will do laundry. My personal biggest negative was that you have to climb a steep driveway and then some stairs to reach the entrance to the hotel. Although you can bypass the stairs by entering through the garage and taking a lift to the main floor, you still have to walk to reception at the entrance. If you're carrying luggage, either way it's a trek. I'm in my eighties, so at the end of a day of walking, climbing the hill was a chore. All in all not a bad choice.

This hotel is about a 20 minute walk into the centre of Aix. Cheap parking for motorbike in garage. Hotelroom small, bathroom ditto. Breakfast €13 wasn’t worth the money. Croissants not fresh, orange juice, when it finally arrived, wasn’t so good. You could boil your own eggs, that’s a good idea, better than the green ones I had in Lyon.

This is a pleasant hotel just a short walk from the centre of Aix. For what I got, I felt the Mozart was excellent value for money. The bed was comfy, bathroom clean and tidy and the room good enough for a short stay. I had a small fridge in the room and a little balcony. My booking included breakfast and there was more than enough choice for me each day. The staff were wonderful - fortunately they spoke excellent English (as I speak no French). I would stay again and recommend to others looking for a convenient place to stay in the pretty town of Aix.

Perfect option for touring - good location for the old town, lovely staff, clean rooms, air conditioning, powerful shower, good breakfast with a nice range of options that is included. We will definitely return, very happy to have found this gem.

The hotel is just outside the inner city, walking distance to the big fountain no more than 15 minutes. In front there is free parking. The reception is very friendly and helpful. The room is nice with a clean new bathroom, a desk, a fridge and a water cooker. The shutters make the room pitch dark and it is very quiet. Internet is fast and works very well. We did not have the breakfast. It is good value for money.

Perfect location. Twelve minutes walking to the center. Boutique Hotel. Very clean. Very Friendly Staff. Optional breakfast. Safe area. Wear all your Jewelry is ok :) Will definitely book again. Village is so captivating. The Green Market is a must on Saturday

Just a short 12 minute walk into town. Extremely safe. Hotel offers continental breakfast for an extra charge. I did pass because there are so many cafes to people watch while enjoying your meal or cappuccino. Rooms, although small, are very clean, hot shower and comfortable bed and pillows. Staff is so nice and friendly as well as the people of Aix-De-Provance. Weather was perfect in September, 65-75 degrees daily. Most importantly, the big crowds left and no lines. Food is more than Fabulous. Will return. :)

This hotel is just what you need for a short stay. We did three nights. The staff helps with any directions and reservations. The room is small, as expected, but clean. You should know that the shower is a round phone booth so rather tight. We had only French TV and no smart channels. The breakfast was pretty good, mostly cold exc. for toast. There is an elevator. It is a brisk walk into town about 20 minutes. It is frequented by French and repeat visitors because it is basic, comfortable and clean. We are staying there again on our next visit to Aix. Enjoy!

Perfect location (to the South of the town & an easy 10 minute walk in) & on-site parking (always a joy in a new place) with a fabulous welcome, made our stay in Le Mozart, lovely from the word go. A comfy & airey room, plus a little balcony overlooking hills & greenery-the downside to the room was the shower one had to crouch under to wash properly (not good for a tall husband) & no coffee making facilities (maybe it’s a French thing). The carpets adorning the rest of the hotel were a bit scary & the whole rules at breakfast were unnecessary. Apart from a couple of things, this was a great place to explore a glorious town.
