Fame Residence Lara & Spa

The hotel is one of the nicer ones in Lara beach, the rooms are great and the hotel is immaculate the staff don’t stop. We had a 2 bedrooms apartment and it was great for what were needed it for. We were disappointed a little with the building work going on right outside our balcony but that can’t be helped as it was the hotel next door. The pools are good and the slides great! Kids loved them. It’s right in the beach with a bar and food served there too so that’s spot on. The food is of a nice quality but not masses of variety however we always found something nice to eat. Breakfast could be better as there’s not much choice. I do feel a couple of minor adjustments would make all the difference, things like playing music around all the pools would make it a better atmosphere, it’s feels like an adult only hotel sometimes as it’s not very child friendly. Although staff have been great with the kids especially the man who looks after the beach! If they had some freezers dotted around with ice lollies this would have been good as my kids like things like this to cool down and I didn’t want to have to get them an icecream every time. There’s also not much entertainment at the moment and just not much going on, not sure why as the season should have started again. Don’t get me wrong we have enjoyed our holiday but I’m not sure it’s worth what we paid for it. I also don’t think I’d come back. However can’t fault the staff, guest relations team have been checking in with us seeing if we’re ok and if there’s anything they could do for us, we’ve enjoyed our time here but with slight adjustments it would make all the difference!

Stayed here in September 2024, We visited to get a bit of sun before the UK winter started, We decided to stay at the Fame Residence due to its location from the airport as some hotels are over an hour transfer, the Fame is about 30 minutes transfer, The hotel caters for all nationalities and the selection of food was very varied and we were never in a predicament that we could not find any food that we liked, All of the food was very well presented and replenished when needed, The alcohol was of a decent quality and not poor as mentioned by some other people, We did not use the beach during our visit and decided to use sun loungers near the pool closest to the hotel rear entrance , We found this pool area to be pretty quiet and a short walk to the 24 hour bar and the adjacent seating area, We would recommend taking towels for the sun loungers as the ones you get at the hotel are not long enough, We would drink in the piano lounge opposite reception before and after our evening meal, The service here was second to none by all of the staff, A quick mention to Hassan, this gentleman is an asset to the Fame Residence, He made us feel very welcome as guests at this hotel and always helpful if we needed any local information, Our room 5245 was land facing which suited our needs for the week, It was serviced to a high standard by very polite room staff, The one thing we must mention is there are staff constantly cleaning the hotel inside and out, We did not check out the day or evening entertainment but feel there was plenty for young and old to enjoy, Overall had a lovely break and would go back again, One thing that we must mention is have food and drink before traveling to Antalya airport, especially if you have children, It is probably the most expensive airport for food and drink we have ever traveled through, Please take this on board to save any disappointment , We paid 10 Euroe's each for a glass of Effes beer.

Food is poor, drinks special taste, people not dressed up in the evening. Waiters friendly, good room but old. The hotel needs renovations. The pool is nice but not enough space. This is not all in : pay for orange juice 2€. Theme restaurants 10€ per person. We would never recommend this hotel. Not a 5 star!

Once... Not twice! .....poor food, drinks of poor quality, dirty beach... not enough space, in lobby bar a particular smell. Our room and I guess for the others too please restore. People in the restaurants in the morning, lunch, dinner in shirts shorts, sandals... Ok it's hot in August! We like it other way. Breakfast fresh orange juice to be paid for and this in all-inclusive.... Cats in the restaurant(s).. We love cats and dogs but not in the restaurant on vacation. NO 5 star for sure.

Sunny weather, tasty food, nice people, fun activities and entertainment made us once more very happy here. We are very grateful for every single crew making our trip so great. We would like to mention special thanks to Elena, best waitress in town, Sevgi, Lemya, Yunus, you rock kid! 😀 Kubra, you are such a cool instructor, tough but yet feminine 💪😍 You go, girl! Lovely Ahmet, you conducted all your animation activities with professionalism and enthusiasm, let's not forget pretty Zuzu and Ozgul, Mehriban from GR, and everyone else who works so hard during the summer season here. We spent here 10 days and it was still not enough 😀 We are looking forward to seeing you next year, Fame Residence Mona and Harold ❤️❤️❤️

holidays at the fame hotel, It's my first time at the hotel and I really like it here. It is clean and the staff is helpful. There is plenty of food and drink to choose from. during the day there is a program from animators and everyone can find their own program. Great beach and sea.
