It’s excellent hotel

Everything is excellent – delicious food, comfortable rooms, a well-equipped gym, a relaxing spa, and an outdoor swimming pool with warm water. Training fields are of high quality and located very close to the facility. The airport is also nearby, making travel convenient. If you are a physiotherapist, remember to bring your massage table to ensure you can provide treatments.

Rooms Rooms were the negative, we had 2 double beds but they were small and uncomfy so didn’t sleep very well. They need updating have stains on carpets. View was great though from this room (1607) They also had no air conditioning during our stay and it was very warm at night, for 5 star you should be given the option if you want it. Pools Big pools were unbearably cold as were the slides but didn’t stop my child going in just had to make sure she got out now and again to warm up. Tbey turned off the big slides from 1st November but kept open the children’s slides. Beach Sea lovely and warm and cabanas were extra but well worth it on the pier, service fantastic there. Buffet restaurant Food lovely and lots to choose from but the same each night and it’s huge so can be a little overwhelming when busy and trying to seat your child etc. Steak restaurant We paid extra for this and was worth the money, just nice to be served rather than queuing in the buffet. Italian restaurant We got this included with jet 2 and it was the best meal of the week Beach day time restaurants These were fantastic especially the pizzas and kebabs Patisserie’s The best desserts and waffles Entertainment Really rubbish but was out of season for us, occasional signer or band Kids club Out of this world Staff Didn’t have any problems all friendly but wasn’t always quick when being served Overall I enjoyed the holiday but wouldn’t return as the area isn’t nice around the hotel and I got bored of the food and entertainment

Scenic hotel. Very clean. Attentive staff. Food is 5 star! Hotel has everything you could dream of. Cannot fault it. Second time here with family. Have a great kids club. Feel safe . Great location. Near to airport. Grest for families and couple. Private beach.

My partner had stayed here last year and so I was looking forward to experiencing what this hotel has to offer. Transfer time was a reasonable 30 minutes. The room was well appointed with a comfortable bed. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and certainly looked the part. We were in Room 1534 (the second digit signifies the floor number). Good to have a safe and a fridge that was replenished daily. We experienced an issue with the water which was lukewarm in both the sink and the shower. This was reported, repaired (or so we thought) and then the issue returned for both the penultimate and our final day. Not something we expected to encounter in a five star hotel. The food was on the whole very good however the breakfasts were a little underwhelming. There was no bacon or mushrooms from what I could see and the quality seemed to fall short of what one would expect. Lunch and dinner were better however the sweets were very “same-y” and the cheese tasted very bland. No grapes (which was strange) or ice cream (although there was ice cream in the patisserie). Service was on the whole very good and the quality of drinks was of a very good standard, the white wine and Bailey’s in particular. The spa was adequate but nothing special. The water in the pool seemed a little cold as was the ambient temperature in the Spa.. The bowling alley was an interesting addition and we would have liked to have had a game had we been able to spare the time. The bar downstairs seemed to have a good vibe about it though the singing combo were instantly forgettable, unfortunately. The beach area was a pleasant place to be. The weather on the final day was conducive to sunbathing and it was very relaxing. It was disappointing that the sunbeds by the Spa appeared to have been left out when it had been raining and therefore the wooden base of the sunbed was wet which permeated through to the sunbed covers and ultimately to your clothes. Surely these should have been stacked away to prevent this from happening? Overall, I would say that this was a four star hotel rather than a five star hotel. It's the old adage “you pays your money, you take your choice”.
