Very disappointed with our visit to Titanic Deluxe on Lara Beach in November as more than half of the hotel facilities and services were not available. I was not expecting the hotel to be fully operational in November, but I did not expect that nearly all of the facilities that make a 5 star hotel to be unavailable or closed for the season. Have a good read fo the reviews, the food IS great, the hotel IS spotless and SOME of the staff are brilliant, but those three areas do not make a great hotel, I am a little surprised that these are the only areas that are mentioned in most TripAdvisor reviews (from people with 1 contribution), it may be that for a 1 night stay this is enough, but for a holiday it is not. I suggest you look beyond the 'everything was amazing reviews' - it is not. A hotel stay is about how it makes you feel as well as cleanliness and great food - we did not feel valued as a customer in any way, in fact we were very much in the way as the Maintenance Team were trying to reverse a tractor trailer while packing away the sunbeds, pool side umbrellas and outside seating areas... We feel REALLY misled and slightly ripped off, check my pictures and make your own mind up. Fully operational this will be one of the best hotels in Turkey, but out of season, don't bother, it is not a pleasant place to be and everything feels like a battle. Some examples; there was no air conditioning, it was 26*C in the day and 18^C at night, I am a cold weather Englishman, that's hot for me, which is why i made sure our holiday hotel had air conditioning, it was 'turned off in October' so the hotel gave us a noisy dusty fan after 2 days of reception saying that they were fixing the aricon, there are no shows or entertainment a DJ played for 2 hours every evening in the lobby and for 1 hour at sunset as the 'Sunset DJ', he was very good, but finished before the sun set, oh and there was Karaoke in the games room. The pier/jetty bar was closed and stripped down, no cabanas, the beach bar was closed, there was no beach service, the pool bar was closed, no roller blading service around the huge hotel complex (which people seemed to like), nearly all the outside areas were locked up or stripped bare, pool loungers were removed and then the umbrellas were removed too, people found shade under the trees around the pool, no lifeguards (including the heated and indoor pools). Disposable plastic glasses used as default and not just in the pool areas, everywhere, including the lobby bar in the evening (?!), beer was lovely but cocktails were very disappointing, inconsistent and poorly presented, beautiful delicate cakes were served on flimsy polystyrene plates and tea spoons had been replaced with little wooden sticks, I mean, what on earth. If you wanted a cup and saucer for your coffee or a glass for your drink you had to ask, but usually your plastic drink was just tipped into it, I mean 5 stars.. come on... We didn't see a manager all week, the staff were runni
