Golden Beach Resort & Spa

We stayed a week in this hotel and it was really good! I did not like the food but it was proper and there was more than enough for everybody. The animation team was GREAT and the activities were really fun!!! The hotel was not bad and the people were always cleaning outside keeping the gardening perfect ! This was the best holiday I had till now !

This is truly the crapiest hotel we have EVER stayed in. It’s filthy both in and out of rooms, with dirty plates and cutlery left outside rooms for days , the food is discusting all chicken, chicken and more chicken, obviously reheated I had a terrible stomach problem and could only eat bread, we had to get a new bread down cause everyone handles it for cutting. Reception are oblivious can’t speak a word of English. Diet drinks were finished for the rest of the holiday some days before we left. Please avoid hotel at all costs if you value your health.

We liked the location of the hotel and the food very much. The rooms were very clean, the pool was very clean and the aqua park was really fun. In general, we were very satisfied and we are thinking of coming again. Especially the attention of the staff caught our attention. We would like to thank Mr. Efe from here. Please Read the reviews saying not to come here, reading the reviews we thought they were over exaggerated however they are under exaggerated in my honest opinion. My family and I arrive around 3am it was extremely dark and we couldn’t even see what was infront of us as there was no lights at all, this resulted in my great aunt who is in her 70s to fall and trip over the unsafe pavement of the hotel which was ragged and not laid properly. We then checked in to the reception where we asked to seek medical attention to her leg as it was a very deep and bloody cut which required stitches and regardless of travel insurance which we had they charged to just look at the cut. We then followed the receptionist up to our rooms which were a long walk and right at the back of the resort, which is not ideal as we had children and elderly people with us one including a pram , as we reached the building there were many steps to go up and very steep, we got to the first floor and the elevator was an old door with a very unsafe elevator on the other side of it which could barley fit 2 people and was a struggle for a babies pram, after about 15 minutes we managed to get to our floor which was the 4th floor and into our rooms, at first glance the rooms weren’t so bad but as we walked in dust stuck to our shoes and the sheets and towels were filthy with stains and bad smells, the beds are very hard and we barley slept the whole week we stayed, the showers felt dirty to even be without shoes in and the water was barely warm, they clearly had not been cleaned for a very long time, the toilets had stains inside and the bins weren’t emptied, there was dirt inside the cabinets and bits of rubbish swept to the side, our hotel door did not lock and neither did the balcony door and we could not change room as it was just me (18) and my cousin (17) year old girls and had to be close to our family, there was no wifi anywhere in the hotel besides at the reception which in the day there was many people using it so it did not work, we had to come down to reception multiple times to ask for water which they gave in tiny plastic cups and no more than 3 were allowed to be given, my parents asked for a travel cot as there is a young baby and it should have been provided before hand as it was stated, they took 3 hours to bring it after multiple asks, as me and my cousin left the reception the receptionist followed us up to our room and tried to get out numbers and make us go to the beach with him the next day, when the answer was no he continued to try knowing our ages, this made us very uncomfortable and nervous to even be out of our rooms alone. The next day the we went for breakfast the food was barley edible and made us sick, same with lunch and dinner however they were slightly more manageable, we had to get taxis back and forth from town just to buy food to eat which defeats the purpose of all inclusive, we were denied cutlery when we did eat and told to “not speak English to

I enjoyed spending time here. Everything was perfect. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are clean and equipped with air conditioners. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Food is varied and delicious and you always can choose what you like. The swimming pools are nice and clean. There is a sea beach near the hotel equipped with sunbeds. We enjoyed swimming there.

Please Read the reviews they are really truthful. Just back from 10 days reading the reviews we thought they were exaggerated. We arrive around 22.00hrs checked in they had left rolls for us and took us to our room. The guy in reception took us to room which he saw we struggle with the stairs and said come to reception next day and they would move us, which was very much appreciated and moved us the following day. Now to the bad and so many The Hotel is very Shabby an in desperate need of a refurbishment Bathrooms do have mould but are not ventilated No Towels exchange No Bath Mat we managed to get beach towels from our guy at reception. No towels exchange until our last day and room cleaned think cleaner had only been in room once in the 8 days after room change we emptied our rusty bin in bathroom no top up of toilet roll fortunately there was a cleaners cart in corridor so we took a packet No top up of water in the fridge which had seen better days, but a crate left in corridor so we took some (Not Always a crate there) FOOD well do have to agree with other reviews not great, no labels saying what the hot food was or contained and was most cold even tho on heater things they did not replenish either so after 8.30 you get "Finish" if dishes are empty. No toaster to toast bread now I know I'm English but most countries have toasters, good selection of jam. Only porridge oats as a cereal although Yogurt was nice, there was boiled eggs Scrambled eggs and some other hot stuff but we only did breakfast maybe two mornings. Lunch by the pool at 14.30 was burgers nugget chips and salad was OK but by day 8 don't was see another burger. Ice cream and 16.00 was OK, but the queue so long and possibly only let you have 2 although we were a group of three. Three evening we where told closing the seating area upstairs, so unable to sit and digest what ever we did get to eat and one evening was because they had a Turkish evening for the Turkish guests hotel us English had to leave !! Was not impressed If you are looking this hotel and have any mobility issues this hotel is not for you, steps every where and many steps had NO HAND RAILS and ramps/Slopes very steep (steps to all room blocks that we saw) may be only 4 /5 steps even to get to the elevators. the bridge across the pool had loose slats and handrail and no markings of the dept of the pool chairs and beds OK around the Pool and the staff work hard there keeping the area clean well done lads. Room are tired and balcony very small just enough room for two chairs. Never really new who worked at the hotel as they do appear to have a uniform or even just a T Shirt with hotel name on. Only saw one guy in the animation team he never spoke to us and my other big gripe is that around the pool the music was very loud rapping kinda music some days it was like like being at a rave couldn't relax and read and some ver
