I have been organizing group hikes in Imlil for friends and colleagues over the past four years. The success of these trips lies solely with the awesome and professional staff at the Berber Family Lodge, particularly the owner/manager Muhammed. Incredible location, comfortable rooms, delicious food and great service. The BFL can organize guides, cooks, stays in refugios/gites, and transportation to/from Marrakesh. In four years all of these services have been delivered with a high level of professionalism, at a fair price and without issue. As a foreigner living in Morocco for the past four years, and having travelled the country widely, the Berber Family Lodge is an absolute favorite.

The scenery is great, the room was clean and cosy, the food is full of flavour. We also had a hike with a guide , who was very knowledgeable and attentive, it was worth awhile. The family takes great care of their guests. Overall, beautiful mountains and truly authentic experience.

We stayed at the lodge before starting a hike. The place was great and accommodating. The food was delicious and the rooms comfortable. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. I fully recommend staying at the lodge. It is my second time staying here and I hope to do it again.

Our family of four (kids aged 3 and 6) had an amazing stay at Berber Family Lodge. Mohamed is a top host and will help you with all of your needs, including booking excursions. Hassan and the other staff made the best food we ate in Morocco (even my super picky 6 year old loved the chicken tagine!) The view from the common area is unbelievable and the vibes are so cozy. 10/10 recommend!

I was fasting, so the owners brought me food at sunset to break the fast and at 5 am to have breakfast before sunrise. Views were stunning and rooms were nice and clean. Nicely decorated Would revisit with a romantic partner for vibes and hikes.

Really lovely day trip- food was lovely and staff very hospitable. We had a guide take us on a private walk around imlil and to the waterfalls. We had lunch that we prepared ourselves with the incredible view in the background. Would 100% recommend!! One of a kind experience and views. Can’t wait to visit again

Incredible experience. Number one thing I would recommend to do while in Marrakech. Only an hour drive from the city. Stunning views, friendly family, good food. It is a very cheap, amazing experience so do as we did and definitely tip highly!!!

I cannot speak highly enough about this place. If you are seeking an authentic experience in the Atlas Mountains, this is the place to book. The rooms are clean, the staff is lovely, and the energy is out of this world. Let me not even start with the surroundings - it is unbelievably beautiful, and your stay will be unforgettable. We also forgot our passports and only realized when we were 4 hours away. They phoned us and drove all the way to Marrakesh to drop them off for us before we were heading back home. I will forever remember this place ❤️

Peaceful, genuine and charming lodge with amazing food and possibilty for trekking. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very kind and service-minded. The location is amazing and I recommend it to anyone who wants to visit a more quite part of Morocco.
