Resort - Itself is amazing! The room is big and clean. The water heater works great! Toiletries are in place. Coffee/tea & mineral water bottles are replenished daily. They make up the room daily too. Restaurant - Wide spread of delicious food. The waiters are very friendly especially the Restaurant Manager, Mr. Amr. He is so nice to accommodate my request. I couldn't attend dinner on one of the days and requested if I can change to lunch instead. He attended my request professionally! Outdoor set up dinner is awesome! Front Office - Very disappointing! Reception is the first person that makes you feel welcome! But not in this case. First look at her face (Afra) and you can tell that she's unhappy! I don't feel welcome at all. They lack communications between their shifts. When asked about something, they will tell you to ask this person (A), when you go to this person (A), they ask you to inform reception!!! On my last night, I checked with reception if I can have a late check out as my flight is at 10pm. The night duty guy said, yes and he allowed me to check out the latest at 3pm and noted down my room number. The day of check out, Afra called so many times and told us to check out immediately. I informed her that I was allowed to check out at 3pm. And she said NO! She said that if I want to check out at 3pm, i have to pay a half day fee which is around SAR 400. It was so ridiculous! She should at least check with the night shifts on duty before insisting us to check out! The lack of communications especially the front office is terrible! With her stuck-up face, I don't think I will come back again. I hope the Management should look into this matter. There's no way to treat your customers in such a way. Even though I am Asian.
