Grand Uysal Beach & Spa Hotel

Really nice modern hotel in a decent location, beach was good with water sports on there to do. We did parasailing which we loved. Staff wise, majority was lovely but there was a few that were rude or didn’t speak to you at all. The bar staff are fab, nothing was too much for them and even left plenty of tip for them. The cleaners couldn’t fault them either. Lovely ladies who graft really hard. The food wasn’t the best and was very repetitive, I found myself eating chips and salad the majority of my stay here and we ended up eating 3/10 nights which isn’t so bad. The lunch snacks are the same everyday, chips, kebabs, burgers and salad. Coffee isn’t nice and I’m a massive coffee drinker so for me not drinking coffee the whole time here was hard. I had 2 Turkish teas which is my favourite but could only get this served to you, which I think it should be available to help yourself like usual Turkish hotels. The hotel is very LOUD (which is no fault of the hotel) but people constantly shouting in the corridors, the room above us woke me and my sister up at 4:30am moving furniture, shouting and banging around most nights. Very annoying. The pool isn’t the greatest area to sunbathe or try and get a tan as only one side of the pool gets the sun the majority of the day. So you’ve gotta be down early enough to try and get that side. The shop on-site is very expensive, you will probs get ripped off you’re better off going to migros for snacks etc which is like a 5 minute walk from the hotel, don’t fall for it definitely invest getting a hamam from the inside spa, so amazing

All round brilliant hotel, staff, food and location. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and were always smiling and welcoming. The food was amazing from breakfast, lunch and dinner. Nice clean family room with good size of balcony. We really enjoyed our holiday. Best regards to all staff.

We just spent 10 days here as a family of 6. The first night we were placed in two unsuitable rooms & had to share a double bed between 3 people & spend our first day moving rooms again. The biggest disappointment with this hotel was the insane prices the hotel 'Market Shop' charged the guests. Whilst seemingly friendly he charged 1400 turkish lira for 2 pool floats that were sold around the corner at a local market for 400 lira maximum. Not only that they deflated the first day because what we then discovered was that he would pay you a small fee to hand them back in at the end of your stay so the majority were second hand! As a hotel guest I would of expected you to vet the prices your guests were charged to ensure they were taken care of & understood a basic figure of what things cost locally but instead he made prices up on the spot & expensive ones at that. The food overall was great, lots of choice & the restaurant staff were brilliant! They worked incredibly hard. Same as the life guards, pool workers & maids. The male pool bar staff however were rude, barely acknowledged your existence but thankfully there was a lady who was much friendlier that worked during the day. My husband experienced 2 days of severe sickness & diahorrea which left him bed bound we also found one of the workers in the shop had it too & similarly we all had low levels of stomach ache here. We never ate or drank outside of the hotel so make of that what you will. The maid service was great, very friendly & I felt the overall cleanliness was exceptional here. I can't fault that. I also found the beach towel service great too. The animation team was quite abysmal and overall hotel entertainment was lacking compared to the hotel next door, I also found it disturbing that I placed my 7yr old into the kids club just to find she had walked straight out the door with no intervention so that was the last time she attended there. The best price we were charged for a taxi into Alanya was 250 lira, the most expensive was 600 lira so ask for a price before you take a ride. Finally we did celebrate Turkish night here on the 30th August & the staff put on a great display! The atmosphere was by far the best we'd experienced all holiday. Overall a 3 star hotel at best.

This was our first time visiting turkey with children aged 5,10 and 13. Firstly the hotel is very well maintained, clean and modern! Rooms are cleaned daily, towels changed every other day and the housekeepers are always around cleaning. Bar and restaurant staff work incredibly hard and always smiling. The lady with curly hair in the pool bar is very friendly and chatty. There is a young lad who works beside the pool always cleaning, working hard and the first to say good morning! There’s a strip or shops, restaurants about 10’minute walk (bazar) cheap little bits, bags Purdue’s etc Food - we have had no problem, something different every night, always bbq food, salad bar, kids buffet. Deserts are delicious!! I would highly recommend the hotel to families and couples. The lifeguard is amazing with children, he took our little one under his wing gave him a lifeguard T-shirt and let him work with him for the day! The photographer is fab! Takes some amazing photos and not expensive either. We couldn’t have picked a better hotel! Thank you everyone for a great experience

Het personeel in hotel is heel erg vriendelijk eten is erg goed en uitgebreid zee is nog minuut lopen...we been here before corona... staff amazing Mehmet, Esma very kind and helpfull. We will sure to come back. Thank you very much guys. You are the best i ever seen

Had an amazing time. Location was great only 300tl to the city 5 mins down the road. Food was lovely and had a nice variety every day. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Entertainment around the pool. The entertainment at night was lacking which is why I gave 4 stars and not 5. Hotel was very clean and there was plenty of sunbeds we disnt struggle at all to get 4 beds no matter the time.
