Vikingen Infinity Resort & Spa

The hotel was so big and so busy at food times in main restaurant. Luckily there was a few other places to get food all through the day. Plenty of swimming pools and always got a decent sunbed every morning. But I was a early riser. But still round 9/10ish there was beds available. Plenty of bars and toilets round the hotel and fridges fall of waters. The only problems with hotel was the room was to small for a family of 4. With a 5 and 13 year old. 1 double bed. 1 single bed and a sofa with no covers for it. We had to upgrade to a bigger room which still only had 1 double bed, 1 single bed and a garden sofa kinda thing which luckily kids were happy to sleep on. Which what we payed for was still not worth it but had no choice. The air con in the room was awful and only got cold about 1 in the morning. So trying to get ready for evening was so hot and had to get out the room as quick as we can. Spoke to reception and they tried to sort something out but air con only worked a little bit better. I felt the whole hotels air con was rubbish. Other hotels I have been to as soon as i came inside from hot weather you was hit with good air con that cooled you down. So whole time I was just so hot walking through hotel and eating dinner.

I am so disappointed, arrived with family , for my sons birthday, this supposed to be 5 start hotel , with all inclusive, room we got have only one double bed and one single and small corner , not a bed , no pillow on it no blanket . Balcony , there is wall front of you , horrible. Also usually all 5 start hotels have free wife well not for this one ! Had to pay 40 euros for 7 days just to use hotels WiFi . No snacks or food for us , when went ask for drinks was told no milkshakes left . In bathroom no sanitary items ( shampoo ) never seen 5 start hotels like this :( very very bad I regret booking this hotel :( When we arrived , there was man who was absolutely refusing go back to room they have given to him , it’s so bad .

Vikingen Hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The staff is friendly, the rooms are spotless, and the food is delicious. The beachside location and relaxing atmosphere make it ideal for both families and couples.

This is the second time we have visited this hotel and it did not disappoint. Value for money is fantastic. Our 3 children age from age7 to age 20 and they were entertained all day from 10am-2am for the older one's. The kids club and staff were brilliant and our little girl loved the Mini Disco and shouting "DJ Music". There was plenty of choice of food all day long if required. The hotel was kept clean and pool areas immaculate. The staff did not stop all day long cleaning and providing a top notch service. Rooms were comfortable and clean, fresh towels each day. People complain about the cleanliness? How much time and mess are people making in their rooms? We would love to return again...

This hotel is advertised as 5-star, but in reality it falls well short of that standard. While there were a couple of nice touches — like the beach lunch area — our overall experience was frustrating and at times very uncomfortable. Spa & Wellness We booked a massage hoping for a relaxing experience, but instead it quickly turned into a sales pitch. After the treatment, they insisted on adding a face mask (which we later realised was just a tactic to bring in their “doctor”). This person claimed to diagnose us with several health issues and used worrying language like “dangerous” and “very big problem.” They pushed us to buy a 5-day massage course to “fix” the problems, and when we explained we didn’t have that much time left, they suddenly suggested a 3-day course instead. It was clear this was just a scare tactic to sell expensive treatments. It felt manipulative, very uncomfortable, and not at all what you expect from a spa. Food & Dining The food was hit and miss. Dinner was repetitive and not the best, while lunch over by the beach was much fresher and more enjoyable. Unfortunately, both myself and my friend ended up with upset stomachs during our stay, which makes me question the overall food hygiene. “Welcome Team” & Excursion Sales On arrival, we were greeted by a so-called “welcome team.” Despite the fact EasyJet don’t have reps at this hotel, they claimed to be from our booking agency and were very pushy about selling excursions. Saying “no” wasn’t enough, and it left us feeling misled and pressured right from the start of the holiday. Bars & Drinks The bars were another disappointment. Queues for drinks were long throughout the day, and the drinks themselves were watered down and poor quality. There were also no self-serve soda stations, so if you just wanted a fizzy drink you still had to wait in the same long line as those ordering cocktails. Adding a few soda fountains would be such an easy improvement and would make things a lot more convenient for guests.
