For our wedding anniversary, we spent a day at this resort. It's a fantastic site with breathtaking views. The staffs are very polite, and well maintained property. Check was very smooth and Mr. Vishnu escorted us to the room. The food is excellent, and Mr. Anjo, Prashanth, and the restaurant staffs were all fantastic. The Ayurvedic massage was great, and thanks to Cindy A special mention for Chef As well as General Manager Mr. Dhanesh

It was very wonderful experience staying at Uday Backwater Resort..It was very pretty location , property..Staff was so polite and helpful .. Welcome part was so touchy .Lots of activities are there, pool side area was good ..even we were there on Independence day and they have celebrated so well...I recommend one should keep their stay at Uday ..just one suggestion from my side that hotel should keep more vegitarian options for food ..

It was a wonderful experience visiting the property. Such a warm welcome by team , amazing food, big water pool, pickup and drop of backwater from the property itself, courteous staff, clean room and toilets. I will surely visit again with the family and friends

The first impression of this property blew our minds away. We were pleasantly surprised to see a property of this nature in the middle of nowhere. Massive property with multiple stay options, swimming pool, backwater activities, spa, games and what not! We were impressed by their efforts in the overall upkeep of the property. However, I believe a vacation must give you a wholesome experience - meaning, you can’t just have a great stay but otherwise poor experience. Every minute detail is essential. While our room was upgraded to a bigger one since we were three occupants, the services that followed thereafter only made our experience sour. Starting from constantly asking for extra towels, to extra bottle of water, to incessantly calling for extra coffee sachets - we were thoroughly pissed by their unmindful attitude each day. Then came the awful room service. Language itself is an issue and to top it off - staff were just not careful enough while taking orders. Food quality is just about average. We have had better food in other parts of the state. The biggest flaw can be rectified by accepting it and listening to the customers patiently. Giving a free meal ain’t a solution. While the people were smiling and warm always - their inefficient working style didn’t quite hit the mark. Am I going to recommend this property to someone? Perhaps not. Paying so much per night - one wishes to have a seamless stay experience, which we didn’t. I only hope things get better there before more customers start penning down similar issues.
