Very nice castle experience and you will get the chance to go to the top to see a spectacular view. The dinner and breakfast is super delicious and worth of money. Staff are friendly and professional!

A lovely old castle with comfortable rooms. The castle battlements are available to access, ask at the reception for the key. The food was very good and as we stayed a few nights we had a chance to try a good selection from the menu. The breakfast was very good and huge.

Feel lucky to have stayed in such a historic parador. Castle has been beautifully restored. Bedroom was stylish and cosy. And staff very friendly.

Excellent experience with an amazing view from castle ramparts. Staff were extremely professional, friendly and helpful. Breakfast allowed a good choice for all palettes. The room was clean and beautifully presented.

We went to this place...just because it is an unique, incredible hotel. It is a small hotel (maybe 10 rooms?), in a tiny village, far from everything. The staff is remarkably nice and friendly. We had the top suite, which is magnificent. Two small issues though: there are not that many power plugs, in particular near the bed and the bathroom is large enough to accommodate a shower, which is surprisingly absent. But overall, this is an extraordinary hotel. So beautiful!

We picked this parador for an overnight stop on a long drive south towards Andalusia. It was chosen because it was the right distance. When we arrived we just loved it. A castle on a cliff overlooking a river with views for miles. The interior has been charmingly adapted, our room really was part of a castle but fitted out to a high standard. The restaurant had a good choice of local dishes and was reasonably priced. Our waiter advised on excellent local wines which were a bargain. Every member of staff we spoke to was charming and helpful.

We visit the Parador of Alarcon at twice a year. It's A wonderful location and really spectacular to see as you arrive. The Parador itself is a lquite small and a ittle basic but all the important things such as rooms and restaurant are excellent. Plenty to see around the village and great walks to be had along the river.

The Parador in Alarcon is a stand out location, with over 800 years of history, breathtaking scenery, great food and a group of staff that are simply unbelievable. Whilst Alarcon takes some effort to get to, the effort is well worth it.

This is bucket-list place to visit, a real castle maintained impeccably respecting its architecture. The view from the road as you approach it and the views from the castle are amazing. Room was nicely appointed and very comfortable (#103) but be careful selecting rooms because not all of those in the castle's tower have standard window - remember, this is a real castle built in the 1100s!
