Terrazza Sui Trulli

We visited Alberobello towards end of June and decided to make a couple of nights stay here in this beautiful trullo. The location is just at a stone’s throw from everything . But what was the cherry on top was the family that runs this trullo . Daniele and his parents are amazing people. We arrived quite late in the night and Daniele waited to check us in . They host you with a lovely homemade breakfast everyday . We really felt so homely . Thank you from the bottom of our heart for making our stay special. The terrace was also beautiful to enjoy the sunset . They also provide you access to a kitchen for free water , tea , coffee etc . Highly recommend their place to stay if you are in the area .

Our host/owner met us, stored our bags ( we were early), and walked us through our great room. This place is right by the town square so is central and the rooftop terrace has "money-shot" views of the conical stone roofed buildings as far as the eye can see. The square has all tourist amenities but the hotel provided an adequate breakfast of home made items and a very good cup of coffee. There was an indoor and outdoor eating area, an kitchenette available, balconies, and supreme location to all venues in this charming Town. If you are headed to southern Italy, this place and Matera are absolute must see places.

Wow, this is a beautiful B&B right in the heat of town. The rooms were first class, well furnished clean and spotlessly clean. We loved the decor and the room was very comfortable. We was met by Vito, such a lovely gentleman and could not have been more helpful. There is a beautiful roof terrace you are able to use and the views over this beautiful town are fantastic. There are tea and coffee making facilities as well as a fridge you are able to make use of. Vito took time to explain and walk us through the whole B&B. The next morning for breakfast we met Georgia and her mother where we had a fantastic breakfast and home made jam from Georgias mother. This is a fantastic family run B&B where they work very hard for the enjoyment of their guests. Right from the first welcome to the goodbye. If your looking to stay here and want to look for a top class B&B, then look no further. This is everything you need for a great stay to see this beautiful part of Italy.

Charming, well maintained family run B&B in the heart of the trulli. Rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The bathroom was very modern and clean. I am not sure why some other reviewers complained but our stay was excellent. It was very quiet and we slept very well. We did not hear the other guests as some claimed. The breakfast served was very generous: homemade cookies and jam, fruit turnovers, croissants, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit, etc.,. The owners and their adult children were very super friendly.

Check in was smooth though they couldn’t accommodate us arriving before 15:00 (as other reviewers have mentioned). Internet was slow and didn’t always work. Location is very good, in the centre of the historic town and public parking a short walk away. Heating worked well in the room, room clean, modern, nice bathroom with strong water pressure in the shower. However inside the room you can hear other guests in the communal hallway as they come and go and also when they are in their rooms including when they run water etc, a few guests have mentioned but disappointed that more haven’t written in their reviews when it’s obvious we can all hear each other. Breakfast was very bad, worst we had during our two weeks in southern Italy. Consisted of juice, hot drink, 2x small cereal boxes, yoghurt, packaged small Italian toast, 3x croissants, some local salty and sweet biscuits, bread, jam. For the price we paid we would expect them to provide some fruit, meat, cheese and cooked eggs. All the other hotels/ b&b we stayed is provided a good cooked/ savoury breakfast and they were cheaper. This hotel was more expensive and gave the bare minimum with cheapest options, breads and biscuits are not satisfying and not typical of the region considering we experienced excellent standards in the rest of puglia. For the price we paid we wouldn’t stay here again as the breakfast was very bad and soundproofing not good, which are the two basic things you want from your hotel/ b&b.

Ho trascorso due giorni con mio marito in questo b&b in pieno centro. La zona è a traffico limitato ma ci sono molti parcheggi a pagamento sulla strada a pochi passi. Siamo stati accolti benissimo dai proprietari molto gentili e ricchi di consigli. La nostra camera (Giove) era molto carina con affaccio sul cortile interno. Molto tranquilla nonostante la location si trovi proprio nel vivo di Alberobello e quindi relativo caos. Il bagno un po' piccolo con ampia doccia ed ottima pulizia. Al piano superiore altre camere e con un'altra piccola rampa di scale si può accedere ad un terrazzino con una vista spettacolare sui trulli. La colazione ci è stata servita in un cortile molto carino. Tutto era buonissimo e abbondante. Cornetti caldi, dolci e biscotti fatti in casa ed altre cose. Ci siamo trovati benissimo e ritorneremo con piacere. Complimenti.
