Leonard was the most exceptional worker and always had a smile and went out of his way and made our holiday more present the apartment was huge we had everything we need it hotel staff was always helpful food always different but wasn't the best but after all we were comfortable and all the facilities are nice and clean . We were apprehensive going to this hotel after some negative comments I had read on a local page. They couldn’t have been more wrong, this is possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed in. We went all inclusive the food was fabulous and the cocktails and drinks were lovely. The rooms were spacious clean and the beds were the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The staff were so friendly and unbelievably helpful. All the facilities (indoor pool, spa) were fantastic and the hotels location is within walking distance to old town and new town. Tourist train stop right outside the door and a supermarket is directly beside the hotel. I had a hot stone massage with the masseuse within the hotel it was the nicest one I have ever gotten. It was our first time in albuferia and we will be 100% returning. We were a family with a 2 year old and there was plenty for him to do( games room and mini club). An overall fantastic experience here and can’t wait to return. This is my first ever review so that alone will tell you how good my experience was.

Our third visit to The Grand Muthu Forte do Vale . As always excellent service. Leo in the bar is a pleasure to know , polite , good fun and an outstanding personality . A great asset to your team Juana in the restaurant is so sweet and helpful . Always smiling. Wonderful food and a great atmosphere. Reception staff are helpful and the cleaners do a great job

First of all I want to share that I go all inclusive 5 star every year and have never ever come away with extreme disappointment from this hotel. This is not a 5 star hotel and barely makes a 3 star in my opinion. So hotel looks nice from the outside, reception area quite grand and clean so first impressions were good. Apartment was really spacious but very old and dated. Cleaned and towels changed daily. Most of the staff were really polite and helpful. A few that need a lesson In customer service. Pool area very small, dirty tatty sunbeds. God knows how they accommodate everyone when it’s busy. Drinks were basic all inclusive . Nothing great. When I ordered cocktails they failed to have the ingredients which was really poor. Food, breakfast standard . Lunch and evening meal very poor . Avoid if u have children that only eat chips burgers pizza etc… nothing for kids at all.. very small selection of food. Entertainment non existent . Apart from a dance lesson , quiz and karaoke . All started at 9pm and finished for 9.45pm . All inclusive drinks stop at 11pm which is fine but they completely shut the bar and there is no where to sit and chill apart from the reception area. We had a power cut and despite the poolside bar being run with a generator and had no reason to close , they closed it at 8.30 pm. On the plus side Portugal is stunning and the old town is a must for a visit. I would definitely return but not to this hotel . Seriously if you are expecting 5 star you I can guarantee you will be disappointed

Amazing stay at MGM Forte do Vale. Great service and professional helpful staff. Keryln and Randey in the kitchen and Sumaila and Leonardo in the bar-thank you so much, you have made us comfortable. Albufeira is beautiful, amazing beaches, great food. No complaints, happy family.
