Cerro Da Marina Hotel

This is such a delightful family run hotel . Clean with an immaculate pool and gardens . Rooms are spacious and immaculate . Buffet breakfast is superb with so much choice . It's is a 15 min walk for Old Town Albuferia but that means it is so quiet and peaceful in a lovely residencial area.

Can highly recommend this hotel. The room was spotless and the staff were all friendly and helpful. We arrived early but were allowed into our room by 1.00 pm. The breakfast was really good, great choice and provided several different options for me being gluten free. The hotel is in a quiet residential area and we enjoyed the walk into the old town. I can’t wait to return!

Another visit, another superb stay. We have been coming here for several years now. We are finding the walk back up from town harder work as the years go by, but it is worth it. Ubers and taxis are cheap and available, but do not want to admit defeat. Hopefully we will return. If only I could pack this hotel up and take it with me!

Where do I start? Well, everything about our stay to the whole experience of coming to Portugal was the most amazing experience. My husband booked this break as a birthday surprise. He couldn't have chosen a better place for us. It's an adult only hotel which was nice, we have never done this before and it was so lovely to have peace and quiet and to be able to chill. We had a lovely room 112, which looked out to sea and down to the harbour. Our room was clean with a fridge and mini bar, a lovely bathroom too. Fresh towels each day. The breakfast was plentiful and lots of choice, from pastries, toast, cold meats, fruit, cooked breakfast, everything was offered. Lovely staff, friendly and helpful. The honesty bar is a great idea, open 24hrs you help yourself and write in the book what you have had and tally up before you vacate your room. It was a lovely swimming pool a little chilly for me, but my husband did have a swim. Beautiful gardens, plenty of sunbeds, no one rushing to put their towels on them, just no need to. A lovely touch that they leave a breakfast tray for you in your room if you have an early flight. Like lots of people have mentioned, it is in a hilly area, very quiet, but if it's too hilly for your legs, just get an Uber. They are not expensive, unlike the local taxis. All in all, an absolute gem with wonderful views, the best time, give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

Stayed at Cerro da Marina for 7 nights, had a fabulous stay. So lucky with the weather beautiful sunshine, lots of walking involved as situated in a residential area, you can use uber/taxi to and from centre if needed there are few restaurants nearby, and also at the Marina. All the are staff very friendly and helpful, we were lucky to stay in the ‘Penthouse’ which was fantastic thank you very much Paul for arranging this for us ☺️ The breakfast was very good plenty to choose from also plenty of sun loungers no need to be up at the crack of dawn, although some brits still seem to need to perform this holiday task! Overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very quiet and peaceful just what we needed.

Stayed here for 7 nights B&B, went with TUI. About a 50 minute transfer. On arrival we were checked in straight away (lunch time). ALL staff were amazing! Managers, cleaners, gardeners! The grounds were beautiful and well looked after. Pool was nice (not heated). Breakfast- absolutely delicious! Choices for everyone even the pickiest eater couldn’t complain about their brekkie! Room was cleaned everyday. We didn’t eat the evening meal but heard it was great value and plenty of it! Location was great for us, on a slight hill but we didn’t mind the walk. It’s a €4 Uber from beach if you don’t fancy the hill. Check out was 0600hrs, and they gave us a packed brekkie to take. Seriously, you can fault this place, beautiful location and amazing staff. Honesty bar available 24hrs too, all drinks available as well as food and snacks. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
