We were a party of 4 couples, and had booked 4 double rooms. On arrival we were told the hotel was full and were housed in 2 rooms/suites (2 couples in each) which according to the hotel website were family rooms. These rooms were not acceptable but the hotel would not offer an alternative until our Tour Operator became involved having been sent a video of the actual rooms we were allocated. This finally resulted in appropriate accommodation being provided to the 4 most affected party members, but only after 6 days of our 10 day holiday. None of our rooms were provided with Tea/Coffee making facilities, each room was only provided 1 bottle of water (for 4 guests) each day. Food in the hotel was on the whole ok. At meal times wine was provided, but only by the glass, on no account would the staff allow our party of 8 to have a bottle provided at the table from our All inclusive provision? There were only 2 bars in the hotel, one the pool bar was closed after 6 days due to it being near end of season, the hotel still appeared to be at near capacity? The main hotel bar was understaffed and queuing for 10-15 minutes to be served was common particularly in the busy evening times. Front line staff (servers/ cleaners etc..) were in the main, very polite, but seemed to have very strict rules by which to follow, there was only one occasion when a member of the waiting staff took his own initiative, sadly this was on our last night. This holiday could have been very different to what we experienced, the hotel was not as advertised and I would not return for another visit.
