Travelodge Stratford Alcester

Zsuzanna was a fantastic help. She went out of way to help me. Excellent service! She gets a five star from me! This Travelodge though is in desperate need for refurbishment. It needs work. The room I was in had a smell dampness and the toilet dripped all night.

We stayed one night in November 2024. We would like to say a big thank you to Richard on reception, who was really friendly and helpful. He gave us an excellent room, the room was clean, warm, comfortable and quiet. Thank you very much. Kurkals

The hotel is currently in the middle of a demolition site, as the Service Station and its store have been demolished. The McDonalds adjacent to the accommodation is 24hrs and frequented by noisy yobs with car stereos blaring at 3am whilst they digest their purchases. The hotel reception team were entombed by some plexiglass security shield and I couldn’t hear what the receptionist was saying as she struggled to find our room key from the drawer that eventually fell out of its slot. The family room’s sofa beds had very uncomfortable mattresses, were very short and extremely narrow - ok for a small child but no good for anyone larger. Noisy occupants of room above reminded me of the stampeding wilderbeast from Life on Earth and at 5.15am that was hardly considerate. Couldn’t wait to escape to be honest

Made to feel very welcome Zsuzanhah the lady at the desk great hospitality appreciated everything good with beds and a comfortable room to stay in would recommend to anyone staying in and around the midlands to book this travel lodge thank you T

For first you are welcome by very polite and kind receptionist. Hotel is clean and tidy. Room very spacious and cozy. I would like to mention Andrzelika who was very helpful and help me with extra pillows as well recommended nice places to eat !

I visit this hotel frequently and I find my trips very fulfilling, the rooms are very clean , the staff are very nice and helpful and always asking if we need anything else etc , I find that they take extra care looking after regular customers. The hotel itself is in a good location but is in need of updating. Susanna on Reception is extremely good and professional with her job.
