Apartamentos Solecito

This is a great hotel we are just home from a 10-day holiday and definitely going to book again for next year. The staff are amazing always a smile nothing is too much of a bother to them the cleaning staff are very hardworking and again always a smile. The hotel itself is so clean and relaxing pool never overly busy and always a sunbed to have. Best holiday we have had in ages was sorry to leave but will definitely recommend

We are a family of 4 and our son has specials needs. We had a two bedroom apartment on the second floor, with a pool view from the balcony from the bedroom. The room was very clean and very spacious. We definitely made ourselves at home in our apartment. The beds were super comfy and we all slept well. The shower was very powerful and there was always hot water. It was very hot so it was great to have the air conditioning in both bedrooms which kept us cool at night in bed. The pool was fantastic and we all enjoyed our time by the pool. The children's splash pool was perfect for our son, who was able to play in there while we was able to relax on the sunbeds next to the pool, and watch him play. We also enjoyed a family swim in the large pool too. We had the breakfast which was lovely, fresh ingredients and plenty to choose from. We also had meals in the evening which was also delicious. All the staff where fantastic and made us feel very welcome. Andy did a fabulous job looking after us and our son loved him, we can not wait to return.

Good. 15 minute walk from restaurants and shops. Power only works when you insert the room key into a slot, air con included. Good air con, cool apartment, spacious. Last night we had bugs by the stove, rust around sinks and main shower head in en suite apartment 303 was not working.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Solecito apartments. As a family of five, it was perfect. The apartment was very spacious, beds were very comfortable and everything worked really well. We had a two bedroom apartment, one of which had an en-suite, so the extra bathroom made showers and getting ready for the evening a much quicker and easier process! The living area is very big and the kitchen has all you need for light cooking. The kitchen facilities could do with some more additional items, such as more utensils, pasta strainer, but overall it was fine. The kitchen did not come with washing up liquid, sponges etc. so be prepared to buy those items if you need them. There was a tea-towel, which was always changed when the room was cleaned. Towels were changed regularly and the apartment was cleaned at least three times during our 10 day stay, which was all that was needed. The apartment also had two balconies, one overlooking the pool, and the other overlooking the street. The noise in general around the hotel was fine, and everything was always quiet by midnight. The pool area was great for what we wanted. There is a good size splash pool for toddlers, a small shallow pool for young children, and then a good size normal pool. At the end of each day, the staff collect up any left over inflatables/pool toys and these are made available to the residents, so our kids had a great time playing with these. There were always plenty of sun-beds available with lots of parasols, so no need to get up early to reserve, which made the whole experience much more enjoyable. We felt that the site in general was well maintained and very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we would not hesitate to return here in the future. We had a great holiday here, and enjoyed it far more than previous holidays to larger hotels. There was definitely a much more personal approach to our stay, unlike the larger places where there are lots of people. We have just back home from staying at the Solecito Apartments Firstly greeted by friendly night staff as we didn’t arrive till 3AM he made sure that we were welcomed and helped us with our luggage as we had a disabled person with us. We originally asked for a ground floor apartment and was happy that we got one right by the pool The next morning we was greeted by Andy and said if there is anything that he could do for us to give him a shout. That made us feel very welcome and comfortable with our environment. The accommodation was very clean and spacious and perfect for our disabled brother. The pool area was very clean and well maintained, every morning the pool staff always greeted us. The rooms were maintained every 2 days by again very polite staff. The bar was reasonably priced and available throughout the day and night. Food looked great and people looked happy with offering.. Chips were the best. The location is about 10-15 mins walk to either beach or busy area. There were local bars that served food too. I would recommend bar Hollywood about 3 bars away. In all had an amazing week and it’s was perfect for us and our disabled traveller.. Thanks all.. .

During our stay at this complex we experienced a range of issues. Starting off with noise, we have never made noise complaints before on holiday and we had to make two at this complex. A large group of boys were in a room next to us, drinking, running up and down the stairs, playing music, chanting and shouting all night into the early morning. No action was taken from the noise complaint as staff claimed ‘it isn’t usually like this’. The next people that moved in also were singing and chanting into the early morning, this is probably due to the very thin walls in the apartments. Additionally, the lock on the door wasn’t efficient and often got jammed meaning security was definitely compromised. The back door onto a balcony did not open and shut properly. Windows in apartments did not fully shut, making it impossible to keep bugs out (and noise). The bed sheet did not fit the bed and there was no full length mirror in the apartment. The pool was cleaned once during our two week stay here and it was done at 11 in the morning when holidayers wanted to use the beds and the pool. Our room was on the front of the building and our balcony was over the bar, noise from this area could be heard in our room. The poor view was of a large all inclusive hotel complex and the noise from their entertainment throughout the day could be heard clearly. Finally, the pool is open to the public and during our stay was often overrun with local families of at least 10. This meant there was a lot of shouting and crying. On these occasions beds were being taken up by people who were not staying at the hotel. It was completely over run and the staff had no control or care for the situation. Vans full of families were turning up to use the pool. People who were staying in the hotel had no beds. Staff only seemed to care about who was spending money at the time and not about customers who were staying in the hotel. So anybody can walk into the pool area, often people from the all inclusive hotel opposite would walk over and make use of the pool and bar. However, when this didn’t happen the pool area was pleasant and peaceful. The maids were lovely and friendly and cleaned the room to a high standard. The interior of the apartment was modern and had everything we needed more or less. I definitely would not recommend this complex.
