Alua Boccaccio

Great hotel! Very clean rooms and comfy bed. Great pool area, and the hotel is close to everything! The food was excellent and had a good variety. Didn’t go to bed hungry! Also the entertainment and things to do throughout the was great, with darts, pingpong, archery etc.

We have just returned from our holiday in Alcúdia, and I can honestly say I’ve had one of the best holidays ever! With it being my first time in Mallorca I didn’t know what to expect but it definitely exceeded my expectations! The hotel was lovely, really clean and tidy rooms. The only thing I say is that the walls and doors were fairly thin so you could hear conversations/doors slamming from the rooms next door. But the beds were extremely comfortable, we have never slept better! The highlight was the entertainment team, lots to do during the day - darts, archery, ping pong, bingo, quiz nights, karaoke! So you will never be bored, Micaela, Davide and Gina Luca are such an asset to the hotel and they really made our time there very enjoyable! All the staff were fabulous and nothing was too much trouble, thank you so much for a great holiday and we will definitely be returning!

Very good package holiday, all inclusive hotel. It has everything you need for a relaxing and lazy week or so in the Mallorca sunshine. Food was good, though better some days than others. I enjoyed breakfast and lunch the most and it’s easy to get the bus into Alcudia Old Town for a great meal out in the evening. We’ve been 2 years running and visited a few of the amazing places and destinations to visit and I’d recommend going by bus when you can as the service is great. We hired a car to go into the mountains one day but could have easily achieved the same on the bus (although it would have taken longer of course). I’d recommend Cap de Formentor by bus, Soler, the Caves of Drach, and Santuari de Lluc.

This is our 3rd year 4th visit And here is my honest review Hotel beautiful all staff working tirelessly to keep everything spotlessly clean Reception staff are really friendly very helpful and can’t do enough to help Restaurant lovely food something for everyone to eat a little bit repetitive which is to be expected in an all inclusive hotel we are a little disappointed on the deserts this year no big cakes no chocolate fountain but loved the addition to sweets on a couple of evenings, the kids really love those . rooms are a little small but that’s fine for us as we only use them to shower and sleeping beautifully clean bed changed as and when you want and fresh towels daily if needed cleaning staff are really friendly and always happy to help with anything you need Now for the entertainment !!! Wow, what a difference last year the entertainment was sparse This year, amazing mica and the guys Are amazing kept the kids entertained all week Aqua aerobics was brilliant such a real good fun thing for everyone to do my boys enjoyed water polo darts football and the entertainment in the evening was just the cherry on the top for us. We loved it so much we’ve rebooked , for myself and my husband for September, can’t wait to be back I don’t think I’ve laughed so much on holiday for years thank you everyone at alua Boccaccio we absolutely loved it

Great hotel but the best is Mica with the games and entertainment. The food is great. Recommend for families with children. They deserve the 4 stars. They clean each day the room and is clean everywhere in the hotel. Close to the beach, 3 minutes walk.

First impressions: hotel spotlessly clean everywhere, lovely pool area, room nice enough but not enough space to put things, especially wardrobe space. We were all-inclusive, as we always drink a fair amount. My tipple of choice is red wine though, and the wine included here was not good. There is a half decent Rioja at the bar at the entrance to the hotel, but you have to pay €2.50 for this. Myself and my husband were really struggling to find drinks we enjoyed, and looked forward to returning home for the decent stuff! BUT! I think this is the same throughout Spain, I’m not a fan of Spanish wine, and they don’t seem to import any. Food: the breakfast buffet was pretty decent. Something for everyone I would think. Lunch and dinner varied day to day; some days they had lots of great choices, then some days it was just fish/seafood and no nice meat option. I love my pasta, so had this quite a lot, but it was often cold, whereas most other foods seemed to stay hot. Pizza was nice, also chicken stroganoff and beef stew. The pool bar offered chips or potato wedges, burgers/hotdogs/battered fish bites/chicken nuggets/toasties etc, all help yourself during the afternoon. Note: the lake next to the hotel obviously attracts mosquitoes and we got bitten to death on the first couple of nights! Strangely it wasn’t too bad after that. The highlight of our stay at Boccaccio was without doubt the INCREDIBLE entertainment team, Davide, Gian Luca and Mica. All of them are an absolute credit to the hotel. Davide’s energy and funny faces during the pool dancing sessions had everyone in stitches, I’ve never before joined in with anything like this on holiday, but his enthusiasm was so infectious! He and Mica make a great double act doing this also! For anyone who has kids, Mica looks after them so well and does lots of activities with them, and they all love her. Gian Luca was great at encouraging people to participate (especially in the karaoke, which I have also never done before but actually did here!). The evening entertainment was generally good, some really great singers worth sticking around for. In summary: A lovely hotel, with fantastic hard working staff. Could be improved with better drinks!
