Criterion Club Hotel

Had to go to pub to get key, the room was cold, not enough plugs for all items in it room. Toilet wouldn’t stop dripping, wall paper falling off walls, cheap toilet paper curtains wouldn’t open. Didn’t try window incase it fell out. Remote had flat batteries, bathroom door was hard to open. Kitchen jug didn’t work properly an wasn’t any utensils to use. For $110 I would expected hell of a lot better considering iv paid less for way more.

Most rundown hotel I've seen in a very long time. Regretted booking there. *********** lied. They said it was 4 star. It is only .5 stars. It has good wifi. That's it. Nothing else. The toilet ran with water all night. The shower failed to produce enough water. There was no breakfast, the pub part was just for ********. The rooms are upstairs with peeling wall paper and dirty doona covers. We had to remove the old electric blanket from the bed because it didn't fit and stuck into our backs. It was summer. Furniture is old and inadequate. Every morning at 7 am large trucks arrive outside to provide goods for a local store. Indian owners don't give a rats about the building or customers. They are noisy and cook late at night for themselves - smelly. it is not a place to stay.
