Great location for travelers "on their way" somewhere: We were headed to Vicksburg MS and the hotel is right off the highway and not in town. Friendly folks, very clean lobby and room, solid breakfast. Reasonable price tag. Loved the shower head!

I stayed for 4 days for work. Overall experience, I am not impressed. I am a diamond member. When I checked in, they didn't even offer water. Leave alone say thank you. The staff look like they hate their job and not caring at all. When I asked for a bathroom mat ( because I don't have any in my bathroom), they acted like I am a nuisance asking too much. Breakfast was very minimal, not that many choices, one of the day they didn't have it ready until 7 a.m when it supposed to start at 6 a.m. I think this is the worst Hilton hotel chain I ever stayed.

We have many family members who live in the Alexandria area so we visit quite often, at least every other month, and always stay with Home2Suites. As a long time Hilton Honors member I can say we love this particular hotel. Always wonderful friendly staff, always clean and just an overall great vibe. Thank you for your hard work in making your hotel great.

Overall, great property, clean and comfy bed's and friendly staff…. but the breakfast options are something that would resemble a health club. No protein or hearty food. Just a bunch of bagels toast and strange tasting coffee.

I’m here now, arrived one week ago with six left. I’m actively searching for an alternative so I can leave sooner than later. This could be a nice property, if were managed and/or staffed properly, which it is not. If you expect any sort of reference to your honors status, or even membership, forget it, it won’t be acknowledged. I was told at check in that housekeeping is by request only. They’ve been in twice in 8 days. Neither time did they restock the coffee. Once they took the towels and didn’t leave any more. Basically they appear to have made the bed and removed the trash. If you go downstairs to get coffee, as they say you can, you’ll be told they only have a few. I put in a maintenance request to fix the light under the microwave on Monday. Having heard nothing by Friday, I asked the same person I reported it to. He acted like he’d never heard of such a thing. The young lady there told me “we’ve been waiting for the maintenance guy to show up all week and it’s not looking good”. I haven’t heard another thing since. If guest services or basic hospitality are important to you, I would strongly suggest you look elsewhere. This place is an s show.

Decent hotel to stay if you are on your way to New Orleans or Baton Rouge. The rooms are quite spacious with a full kitchen. They also provide a coffee machine, fridge and a microwave. The only issue I found with the room is that it needs a little more cleaning. I found that the shower still has soap scum and the edges of the shower are black. The toilet flush knob has galvanized and green in color. Overall, the room also needs a little maintenance. Other than there was no issues. They also provide a decent breakfast.

The staff at this hotel made our stay a 5-star experience! We were greeted by the desk clerk, John, who was personable, professional, and charming - quite a hoot! The housekeeper went out of her way to expedite her service so we could all get in our rooms quickly (there were 5 of us in 3 rooms). And the maintenance man came out to the parking lot to check under my car when he saw me looking around my tires and under the front end trying to detect the source of a noise. He actually slid under the car to check! This was all within 15 minutes of our arrival. The next day, when the coffee for the big catering urns was not available, the breakfast attendants and manager went out of their way to provide an old-school pot of Community Coffee (Louisiana's pride). The breakfast was hot, tasty and plentiful. The manager offered suggestions for local dining for dinner and smarter driving directions than online navigation. Everyone working there was what you hope to find in the hospitality industry - warm, welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Breakfast is a joke! They gave me a free breakfast voucher and then said at 5am that I had to turn it in the night before. I had to leave the hotel at 5:10am. The AC is so old and loud it kept me up. Very annoying place.

Wonderful staff. They are so helpful and kind. They really care about their guests. The lady that served breakfast was very polite and nice. The man behind the check in counter was also so helpful. Clean room and great breakfast. Definitely staying here again. Big rooms.
