Truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! The team was incredibly professional, endlessly polite, and absolutely relentless in making sure everything was perfect. Honestly, the only thing missing was a way to freeze time, because I never wanted it to end.😆

The wifi was so bad, and it’s not all inclusive, even a bottle of water was charged on the dinner and breakfast, no drinks no nothing.

Hotel location was good in middle of every thing Good cleanliness The suite I took was quiet big Kids loved it Beach was nice ,heated pools was quiet good in winter food was average ,Could have been better

Honestly Not recommended at all, they have a deal with local police members so police members and their families get more than 60% discount on the rate which forms more than 90% of the guest in the place , so you end up with a very local standard and below average service from the place to suit the guests , the stay wasn't as expexted at all and was not as other Sunrise places we went to before. Also they have a very high rate of the dayuse guests due to this discount as well, so again it end up with so many people using average facilities and really crowded place. Not recommended unless you are fine with paying double of most of the guests in the place in a very crowded hotel.

Great location in a mall. Perfect if you are there for a short stay with kids and need to do some shopping. Pool was ok.

Hotel location and beach are fantastic

The Sunrise Alex Avenue hotel was a very enjoyable stay. The service we received was excellent, the rooms were kept clean and nothing was too much to ask. The only improvement I could suggest is to be more clear about the dining options available in half board. Only the buffet menu is included but this was contradicted when we rang reception to ask if we were able to dine in the a la carte restaurant within our half board. They told us we could but when we sat down to eat, we were told that this was incorrect. Maybe an information book/QR code in the room with this kind of information on would be helpful.

Very nice staff and service and access to a good beach

We had an elevator breakdown and were stuck for more than 20 minutes. The service at the restaurant was extremely slow, and the staff was not friendly. I do not recommend this hotel.

There a two nice pools at the hotel and it has a beautiful view of the ocean. The hotel seems to be a popular destination for Egyptians to bring their kids during school holiday, so I would suggest wearing a one-piece bathing suit. Our room had a nice balcony overlooking the sea and was non-smoking. The breakfast is pretty good with a wide variety of choices, including freshly-made waffles and omelettes. We ate most of our meals at the hotel restaurants and both Izoya and Nazaya have a good ambience and above-average food. Quite pricey and popular among the locals for special occasions like birthdays. If you are a light sleeper, do not book this hotel. The original building is a beautiful historical hotel with a stained glass dome, marble floors and a ballroom, making it a perfect venue for weddings… and Egyptian weddings last until 4am, and the hotel hosted at least one pretty much every night. The music and laughter would have been a problem, except that it was almost completely drowned out by the air-conditioner, which sounded like an old VW Beetle trying to start. Honestly, I didn’t know it was possible for an AC to be so loud. Overall, the rooms and amenities are a bit out of date and faded and could do with sprucing up.

we enjoyed our staying in this beach facing hotel. the amenities need a bit of upgrade and the breakfast was a bit chaotic. the window view was amazing!
