Hotel Riviera

The hotel was clean, and the staff were politely, always happy to help and greet you morning and night. Room size was perfect, plenty of space and storage room. Two balconies, swimming pool was clean not too busy. Air con was great really needed when returning to the room. A little overpriced for what you get, considering I paid less for a different hotel last time, which was 4 stars. Plus you have to pay a city tax, which is common practice for all hotels. We didn't stay for breakfast as you can find a good deal along the beach each morning. But this was just preferrence for us. Walk was less than 5 mins walk. And you get a good stretch of beach and many restaurants, cafes, and bars. There is an area of the beech that is smelly towards the old town. It's not rubbish it just where they gather the seaweed and dry it out before disposing of it. This didn't have an impact on the great beach experience. You can hire chairs and umbrellas for half a day or full they range from 15 -30 euros do shop around.

I found the staff very polite and helpful, air conditioning great and spotless.....found the place was noisy in the morning and night scraping chairs and could hear shower and toilet from next door. Near the beach which a part is used a dump for rubbish which caused a smell.

Hotel was pretty central. Lovely beach was about 10mns walk away. Hotel was very clean and bright. Staff very polite and helpful. Rooms cleaned daily. Nice pool. Lots of restaurants nearby. Lovely walks on the promenade. About 25mns walk from the old town, georgeus narrow streets and great views of the bay.

We were on a 9 day roundtrip of Sardinia. We were in Alghero and, wanted to do a special excursion. Since they were booked out, we moved on to Cagliari and the east coast. We suddenly got the opportunity to do the excursion anyway. After long deliberation, we decided to go back to Alghero for this excursion. Being so far away, we booked a hotel in Alghero again, and waited until one day before the excursion to be sure that it would take place. However, the morning of our excursion it was cancelled last-minute because of COVID. . So our reason to travel all the way back to Alghero was gone. However, the hotel staff charged us our full stay anyway, even after we explaiwhat happened. And yes, legally they are right, but is this really necessary? We had not been sitting on this reservation for months, it was booked 24 hours before, during low season, and it was canceled due to circumstances. They could have charged us the first night only. I would never book there again.

Sempre la gentilezza e professionalità di Alessia e Michele!Camere superior belle e colazione eccellente con personale attento alla clientela ! Continuerò a consigliare questo Hotel e torneremo appena decideremo di tornare ad Alghero !!!

Ottimo hotel a 100 m dal mare a Lido San Giovanni a circa 20 minuti a piedi dalla cittadella antica di Alghero, Le camere dateci erano belle, arredate con gusto e molto pulite, con vista parziale sul mare. Servizi praticamente nuovi. Ottima la colazione, ampia e varia, con possibilità, oltre al salato classico e al dolce, di frittatina fatte al momento. Colazione da 4 stelle! Servizio molto buono.

Questo albergo non rispecchia assolutamente le 4 stelle che ha!!! La struttura è vecchia e necessita di tantissime ristrutturazioni. La camera non era dotata di cassaforte e il frigorifero non era funzionante. Nel bagno parecchie cose non funzionavano (phon, aggancio doccia, tavoletta wc che si staccava e mensola di marmo sopra il lavandino posta in posizione da sbatterci la testa ogni volta che si usava il lavandino per lavarsi viso o denti). La zona piscina davvero male tenuta e con acqua sporca. Zero privacy per i condomini che vi si affacciano e mancanza di personale di salvataggio e bar. L'unica nota positiva è stata la colazione con le ragazze della sala davvero estremamente gentili e disponibili!!! Per il resto non siamo stati assolutamente soddisfatti. Struttura non utilizzabile da chi ha disabilità per l'ascensore vecchia e stretta e la presenza di scale per accedervi, come per accedere alla piscina. Non consiglio questo hotel!

Bonjour, Séjour août 2024. L’hôtel est très bien site par rapport au centre historique et à l’accès au plage avoisinante. Cependant la literie laisse à désirer le matelas ainsi que les coussins ne sont vraiment pas confortable pour un séjour de plus de 7 nuits. De plus l’insonorisation est inexistante, on entend absolument tout ce qui se passe dans les chambres avoisinante. Manque de transat a la piscine. Très chère pour ce que c’est en réalité. Je tiens à dire que le personnel est très sympathique, chaleureux et très accueillants. Bien à vous.

Molto confortevole, ottima posizione. Prezzo buonissimo per essere a due passi dal lungomare. Servizi ottimi e personale gentilissimo. Camera pulita e spaziosa, dotata di aria condizionata fondamentale. Molto soddisfacente il soggiorno in questo hotel.
