Hotel Quinta do Lago

Excellent Hotel, lovely Rooms, only criticism is water is not replenished daily in the rooms.. breakfast is delicious! As was dinner on the evenings we chose to dine there. Staff in all areas are extremely helpful and pleasant. I really recommend this hotel, it was lovely for a relaxing break. Pool area is very nice as were the lovely staff.

We stay at the hotel at least twice a year for the last 4 years as a group of 8 - 10 people. The hotel it self is very good clean and the grounds are beautiful with lovely walks. The food is good and the bar does have some entertainment on at times. On the downside we have experienced last year and this year the pool attendant Carlos needs to chill out, he had a very negative attitude towards my family last year and this year he was quiet rude to my wife newly married and actually upset her and myself. I decided to let it pass as it was our last day but had a negative impact on our visit. All the other staff are lovely including Steve at breakfast who we did build a good relationship over the years. I appreciate that the pool is for quiet time if a child jumps in they are just having fun so Carols needs to settle himself down as I felt like putting him in the pool on the last day.

Always great to be back to this heavenly place in the Algarve. Unique location, staff and energy. If you're looking for a top experience, walking distance from the beach with all the facilities you could which for, don't hesitate!

We arrived after a very early flight and was not surprised that our room was not ready. The check in was very brief, no welcome drink given which we would have expected with a five star hotel and very little information given about the hotel. We changed in the spa area and had a pleasant few hours around the pool. We were told that a text notifying us when our room was ready would be sent but never got one. The room was lovely and housekeeping was fabulous throughout. There is also a nightly turn down and water and the tea tray items are topped up daily. WiFi in the hotel was excellent although could be patchy around the pool area. The breakfast is great and the servers were so friendly. In particular, Barbara who always said hello and greeted everyone by name, a real asset to the hotel. The guys around the pool work so hard, making sure everyone is happy with towels and loungers being prepared and parasols moved. Not easy in the extreme heat! Service from the pool bar was generally good and the drinks and food are delicious. I visited the spa for a massage and the therapist was excellent. There was also a lovely indoor pool and changing room. For golf, if playing the local courses, the hotel has a complimentary shuttle. Reception were very accommodating with times etc. The hotel is situated in a stunning location overlooking the nature reserve and the beach which is about a ten minute walk. We had a super stay and would definitely recommend.

This is an incredible hotel with excellent service, food and ambience. It was one of the most pleasant and memorable holidays I have ever had!
