This hotel boasts nice facilities and amenities, modern decor, and comfortable orthopedic bed and pillows. Some minor issues could use improvement, such as inconsistent shower water temperature and minor breakfast issues (omelet chef left station unattended to go to market). However, the real disappointment came from the front-desk staff’s subpar customer service and poor coordination. After we returned a half-raw chicken Kiev, the restaurant manager courteously offered to waive the charge for the entire dinner and provided a complimentary dessert as an apology. We thought that was very gracious and accepted the apology. Unfortunately, the front desk refused (to the point of harassment) to honor this gesture during checkout, leading to a very unpleasant and completely unnecessary billing dispute. They also insisted on charging us for beverages we had brought ourselves, mistakenly assuming they were minibar items (even though the minibar did not even stock these items). To elevate the guest experience, this hotel would benefit from enhanced staff training, particularly in customer service and communication.

The rooms are nice and clean and have a dressing area. There is a good working wifi, in room safe and minibar with even beer, but no bottle opener. Luckily we have one in our travel essentials. For a short time the electricity went out but it was soon restored. However, this is more a problem for Almaty than for the hotel I guess. There were also no soft tissues in the room (no disaster). The breakfast buffet was average. Service is good.

Experience was good. Rooms are nice and spacious, but the hotel has very less staff so reaction time in case one calls for any service is long. Also the staff is not overtly friendly. However i guess everyone in kazakhstan is generally same, cold and bordering on rude. Room amenities for its price, are less.
