酒店在一個小鎮上，離我們要參觀的景點步行一分鐘。就是我們check in 晚了點，和我預訂的房間不匹配，房間非常的小，可以説把行李箱鋪開後都沒地方下腳的程度。但是服務還是非常好的，與預訂房型不一樣 免費給加了個床。早餐非常棒，典型的英式氛圍

Absolutely 5 star. We stayed here for 3 nights the weekend of 25th May. We booked the hotel for our wedding that we were having at the Alnwick Garden, so that our immediate family and wedding party could all stay together. What can I say, all the rooms are stunning, fabulously decorated. Myself and my husband stayed in the Chapel room which was so beautiful. The garden is fantastic, it was perfect for everyone to relax in, and the kids to play and soak up the sun. Celie and the whole team were absolutely amazing, they could not do enough for our stay and made it feel like a real home from home. They even arranged a family style buffet the evening before the wedding so that we could all celebrate together and the food was an absolute hit with adults and kids alike. Thank you so much for making our wedding weekend so perfect, we cannot wait to come back on our anniversary!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cookie Jar. Location is fantastic, right beside the castle with a choice of pubs and restaurants less than 5 minutes walk away. The hotel gave us a permit that allowed us to park outside, we never had problems finding a space but parking isn't reserved for the hotel and there are only limited spaces available. Our room – one of their less expensive ones- was lovely, clean, well furnished with a large effective shower. Tea, coffee and signature jar of cookies were refreshed each morning. We usually spent part of the evening in the lounge/library where you can sit and have a drink brought to you. Happy to recommend the food, everything seemed high quality with wide range of choice at breakfast. We ate there once in the evening, again very good meal. Special mention to the staff there, everyone we met appeared to take pride in their role, being pleasant and truly helpful. Would be happy to return.

I’m delighted to have found this amazing little hotel after googling options for an overnight stop off in Alnwick. It’s absolutely spot on. A perfect location for visiting the castle, with easy parking, and within easy access to the shops, pubs, and other attractions in Alnwick. The rooms are big with stylish decor, comfy beds, and gorgeous fixtures (especially in the bathrooms). All members of staff we encountered were friendly, helpful, and more than happy to offer advice for visiting the local area. The restaurant is a must visit too. We loved both our dinner and breakfast. Choices were excellent and the meals themselves were tasty and well cooked. Honestly, if you need to stay in Alnwick you’d be daft not to book in here.

The Cookie Jar is a wonderful boutique hotel in a lovely town in Northumbria. The hotel is located on a quiet residential street just steps from Alnwick Castle. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We stayed in the Alnmouth room and were very happy with it. The linens were great. The bathroom shower was hot and the water pressure was strong. Breakfast was in a garden room and was delicious. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The Cooke jar was a real treat!

We have just returned from a weekend at The Cookie Jar and it was wonderful. The location was perfect for exploring the town and only a stones throw from Alnwick castle. The decor was lovely and we had a lovely room with a big comfy bed. The staff at hotel were very helpful and friendly. We didn’t eat in hotel in the evening but the breakfast on both days was delicious with quality produce. We had a lovely weekend and will definitely be back.

This is our second visit to the Cookie Jar and won’t be our last. This time, we took the dinner, bed and breakfast option. Staff were excellent from the lady in reception who upgraded our room and waiting staff who looked after us both for dinner and breakfast. This really does set the standard that all hotels should aspire to. Recommended without hesitation or reservation.

Stayed at the Cookie Jar for a couple of nights after our wedding. The hotel was outstanding - the staff were all so attentive and helpful (especially Lucy who was there throughout our stay and always chatty and friendly). The breakfast was delicious as was the evening menu. We sat out in the garden one evening which was lovely and relaxing. Location of the hotel is perfect, easy to walk into the town. We stayed in the Chapel Room which was exceptional, a real show stopper, and we loved every minute in there. Lots of quirky decor that pays respect to the history of the building. Thank you!

One of the friendliest hotels we've stayed at. Lovely, helpful staff. Large comfortable bedroom and bathroom and delicious breakfast. We had dinner in their bistro on all three nights and every meal was excellent. Great location just minutes walk from the castle.
