First time in Alotau and check in at Masurina Lodge..i made reservation on Trip Advisor for 3 nights..i arrived one day later and reservations was moved forward . My commodation was paid through credit card by my sponsors.i stay in for 3nights and on the day of check out I was told to pay 3night. Which they should have advise me during my stay so I should have sorted it out. I even ask on the first day and they said everything is paid for. It was frustrating to know at that time when I can't reach my sponsors to confirm.so I had to pay. At the airport my sponsors call and when I ask about the accommodation/ they confirm 3nights paid. So I call Masurina and speak to Lindze she said it was unrefundable. Anyway, I could not travel due to bad weather and flight was cancel. The airlines rescheduled our flight the next day and all our accommodation and meals paid to Masurina Lodge. So I went to Masurina and was ask to pay K200 to get a room not knowing that the rooms already paid. I checked out next day and thinking that I would get my refund but sheLindzs said she'll will not refund/she need some confirmation first. Im tired and this lady Lindzs should be fired because she overcharged me and denied my rights for the free accommodations that was already paid by Air NIUGINI. My advice is to all travellers to be careful when dealing with this lady at Masurina Lodge Reception. Up till now i didn't get any refund and no communication from Masurina. Staff are friendly, the food is good and the rooms are perfect but this lady LINDZS need to be removed from front desk/ she is very RUDE and UNFRIENDLY, WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE from her.
