Hotel Tossal d'Altea

Amazing hotel with a pool and restaurant, with very friendly staff. Room was comfortable and clean and makes you feel like you are on a dream holiday.

Loved the hotel. Very old world classy. The staff were very friendly and keen to talk about the hotel and Altea. It seemed that they had been there for a while and loved the hotel and cared for it. English was good as we're the rooms. Very clean and beautiful pool area.

Just stayed at Tossal d,Altea for 3 nights and the location is perfect for visiting the centre of Altea, checkin on line worked great and the staff were very helpful on arrival, room was spacious and comfortable but the view from the balcony would be better if the bushes were trimmed, also tea was available but no coffee or milk. Food in the restaurant was excellent especially the seafood paella and the breakfasts also excellent with a wide choice of options. Hotel staff throughout were very friendly and attentive.

Had a wonderful stay here recently. The hotel is lovely! The room was spacious, comfortable and had all the amenities you need like a kettle and fridge. We were lucky they we had a room which had a very big balcony. The pool area and the terrace where you have breakfast are well maintained. Breakfast itself is also really nice. We also had lunch in the restaurant which was excellent, both restaurant and hotel staff are great. The only downside is the hotel is a bit far from old town and the beach, however that wasn’t a problem for us as we had a car. Would definitely return!

This family owned and run hotel is excellent in every way. We had a very friendly welcome and all the staff gave first class and attentative service. The room was excellent and very clean. The food was superb and we would recommend the Romantic package which was first class. Thank you for making my birthday most memorable.

Lovely hotel would recommend to all. 10minute walk from Altea old town. Lovely building and pool area. It was very quiet when we were there had the pool to ourselves. All facilities clean. Staff friendly and approachable. We had bed and breakfast lovely selection of fruit, pastries, cereal, breads, cold meat, cheese, eggs and bacon. It is down a lane therefore slightly precarious walking back at night. Wouldn’t recommend for a lone female. We booked a twin room and there were balcony doors with a tiny balcony not big enough to able to sit out there. We only booked last minute for a one night stay but that would put me off if we were there longer and that’s the only reason I have marked down to 4/5.
