I was in Room 11 for this overnight stay. The welcome was anything but warm from the man on reception. I had a small problem entering my registration number into the screen provided, as it was fixed for tall people to look at it from above. I am short so tried to adjust the angle, which made the screen pop out of it's holder. The man on reception snapped at me that the screen was fixed, and huffed and puffed while he put it back. I did explain that I couldn't see the screen as it was set at a bad angle, so in the end, I read out my registration while he entered it. The room itself was OK, but very heavy with air- fresher. It was also an absolute sauna. I tried to call reception to ask about the possibility of a fan, but the phone was dead, so I had to face Mr, Congeniality at reception again. I was informed that all the rans were out, in rooms which were much hotter than mine. Back in the room, there was an unfathomable remote control, half of whose buttons did not work, so I had to scroll through hundreds of channels to get a basic channel. The programming went backwards only, so if you wanted to change to a channel above the one you wanted, you had to scroll through 100's of channels again. Perhaps there was an easier way, but there were no instructions, and I couldn't face the receptionist for a third time. The windows only opened a few inches, so I ended up having 5 cold showers before bed, such was the stifling heat. I finally fell asleep around 3am, so only got about 4 hours sleep before getting up to a very long day. At checkout, I got the same level of friendliness I encountered on the way in. I did get a good deal on this room as I paid upfront 5 months ahead of time, but I can't say it was worth it.
